We finish with Cantor’s discovery of different sizes of infinity (as a result of Riemann trying to make Fourier’s work precise), followed by Godel ruining Hilbert’s program to prove all true statements from the axioms (the very epistemological system designed since the ancients to discover all mathematical Truths!!).
We have no *right* to knowledge, and should cherish every instance where we are (however temporarily) brought out of the steady state of abject ignorance.
