Channel 7: Hang your heads in shame. It is now a fact at law that you harboured a rapist.

You gave him a national platform to smear his rape victim.

What message did that send his victim?

What message did it send EVERY other rape victim in this country?

Watching African women & men fighting to save humanity & the int'l legal system against the ruthless attacks supported/enabled by most of the West will remain one of the defining images of our time. This will make history whatever happens.

The Nelson Mandela Foundation extends support to the South African legal team as they appear before the International Court of Justice today. Wishing them strength and success in their pursuit of truth, justice and peace. #CeasefireNow

❇ Guided by Fijian youth experiences, we underscore the importance of addressing existing health and social inequities in #climate and #disaster #governance. We offer four key implications for reducing youth SRHR risks through multi-level and whole-of-society approaches.

I can’t bear the weight of this award anymore which is given by a government actively supporting and funding a genocide, human rights violations and destroying humanity.

We are devastated by the UN Security Council’s failure to adopt a resolution demanding a ceasefire in Gaza—blocked by a solitary veto from the United States.

“By vetoing this resolution, the US stands alone in casting its vote against humanity.”

Tuvalu Climate Action Network speaks to the 🇦🇺-🇹🇻 Falepili Union Treaty making it clear that 🇦🇺 needs to first urgently phase out fossil fuels, end fossil fuel subsidies and move towards a just & equitable energy transition.

That is how 🇦🇺 can help Tuvaluans—and the Pacific.

Medical staff in #Gaza are so inundated by the sheer mass of patients arriving that the surgical board used to keep track of the weeks upcoming surgeries has been wiped clean and replaced with these words:

[Gillian Triggs @GillianTriggs]

This landmark decision from the Australian High Court, ruling that it is unlawful and unconstitutional to detain people indefinitely in immigration detention, paves the way for Australia to bring its detention practices into line with international law.
