Statement on Behalf of the Sudanese People Calling on the New Leadership of the African Union to Activate Article 4(c) and Condemning Kenya’s Violation of Sudanese Sovereignty by Hosting the RSF Militia
On behalf of the Sudanese people, we strongly condemn and reject the Kenyan government's decision to host the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in meetings held in Nairobi. This act represents a blatant violation of Sudan’s sovereignty and an unjustified attempt to grant legitimacy to a rebel group that has committed war crimes and grave human rights violations. Such a move contradicts the founding principles of the African Union, particularly Article 4(c) of its Constitutive Act, which upholds the sovereignty and independence of member states. Therefore, we call on the new leadership of the African Union to immediately activate Article 4(c) and take a firm stance against any actions that threaten the territorial integrity and unity of Sudan.
We are fully aware that the attempt to establish a so-called "government" by this rebel militia is nothing more than a childish provocation designed to irritate the Sudanese people and divert their attention from their core issues. However, we affirm with absolute certainty that such futile maneuvers will not succeed in misleading the Sudanese nation or distracting it from its primary objective: the relentless pursuit of justice against the RSF militia and its local and regional supporters, holding them accountable for the crimes they have committed against the country and its people.
The Sudanese people reject any foreign-imposed solutions that do not reflect their true will. We call on Kenya, a fellow African country, to reconsider its actions, which neither serve peace nor align with the spirit of true African cooperation. If Kenya seeks to play a mediating role, neutrality and integrity must be the foundation of its approach, rather than favoritism toward one side at the expense of another.
At the same time, we call on the Kenyan government to engage positively with Sudan, which understands Kenya’s internal challenges and will not take a similar stance, but rather has the ability to assist it. Just as Sudan rejects any interference in its internal affairs, it also believes in Kenya’s unity and stability and stands ready to support it in addressing its internal challenges, such as the separatist calls in the east led by the Mombasa Republican Council, which resulted in unfortunate protests in 2012 where Kenyan citizens were oppressed while peacefully expressing their legitimate rights. Similarly, we cannot ignore the legitimate demands of the Turkana people, the Nubians’ right to their historical land, the issues concerning the Ogiek forests, the aspirations of the Maasai, and the deep historical and linguistic ties between Sudan and the great Luo people in western Kenya—connections that cannot be denied.
The Sudanese people extend a hand of cooperation and mutual respect to Kenya and expect the same in return. We also call on the new leadership of the African Union to activate Article 4(c) and reaffirm its commitment to defending the sovereignty and independence of all member states, including Sudan. The resolution of Sudan’s internal challenges must remain in the hands of its people, free from external agendas that threaten regional peace and stability.
Long live Sudan, free and independent. Long live Africa, united by justice and mutual respect.

سقوط الدندر ومناطق أخرى تم تضخيمه بواسطة إعلام المليشيا الممول، ولكن بعد استعادتها وتقدم قواتنا، ساد الصمت في إعلامهم. هذا يوضح قوة وتأثير إعلام المليشيا والدعم الكبير الذي يتلقونه من مرتزقة سياسيين. لذلك، ادعموا قواتكم في الإعلام وزلزلوا الميديا، فالإعلام له تأثير كبير. كفى صمتاً، فهذا وطنك وأرضك، وهي معركة مصيرية. شعبك يُنتهك ويُقتل ويُشرد من قبل مليشيات إرهابية ممولة لتفكيك بلدك. لا توجد ظروف أو شدة تحتاج فيها وطنك لك أكثر من الآن!
