For the record, it is a blatant lie to say Israeli cabinet members attacked President Trump.
Israeli officials expressed bewilderment and alarm over the MOU, but they never attacked Donald Trump.
Now that lie has been spread like wildfire.
It’s important that we stay factual and show receipts when we make outlandish claims.
A few decades ago, when I was working in the Reagan administration as chief of staff to Attorney General Ed Meese, I argued strenuously against a deal with the congressional Democrats where the administration would agree to grant citizenship to 2.3 million illegal aliens in exchange for promised funds to better secure the border. President Reagan did as promised, but the Democrats reneged.
Nonetheless, I will always adore President Reagan. He was truly a great president and did wonderful things for our country and around the world.
I have my disagreements with the MOU, and I do not believe the Iranian regime will ever honor any agreement anyway, but I adore President Trump and always will. He is a great president and he, too, is doing great things for our country and around the world.
Fortunately @SecRubio made clear that Iran & Hezbollah aren’t linked in a deal. @Israel doesn’t need Iran permission to defend itself. The tether of terror must end.
In a period of two-months, Israel has gone from a great ally and partner in war, fighting by our side against a horrible enemy that has killed thousands of our people, killed tens of thousands of their own people, and was a dire nuclear threat intent on attacking us, to Israeli PM Netanyahu being a difficult person who should be thanking us for saving his country from Iran and should get our permission if he wants to defend his people from Hezbollah and Iran, and stand down when his country is attacked.
And just yesterday, Israel's PM avenged the execution of 5 American soldiers by taking out a Hezbollah commander/terrorist. And only Israel has been killing Hezbollah leaders who murdered our Marines, soldiers, embassy staff, and more. It seems to me a kind word is in order. How does this make any sense?
To the IDF and all involved in taking out this terrorist with American blood on his hands and a bounty on his head for attacking US troops - thank you.
America has no better friend than Israel. We have common values and common enemies. Israel is a blessing to America’s national security.
It’s clear what the PM of Israel is doing. He’s protecting his country and the people of Israel. Just as we’d expect our government to do the same if terrorists in Mexico backed by Cuba were shooting missiles into Texas. I fear Iran and Hezbollah are being incentivized.
Today's missile attacks on Israel by Hezbollah, at the direction of its Iranian regime masters, hours before an MOU (which is still not public) is to be signed, underscores that these terrorist groups have no intention of complying with any deal. And Hezbollah and Iran are undoubtedly getting the impression that they can target Israel like this since the pressure is brought on Israel to accept such a fate lest it be characterized as the perpetrator. It appears the Israelis, the Lebanese people and the Iranian people will have to continue to deal with the horrors of these terrorists. Prove me wrong.
This is now the disgraceful propaganda, which is spreading throughout the media, as intended. Hezbollah and Iran are laughing at the idiocy of the West. It used to be that Israel is never allowed to defeat its enemies. Now, Israel is not free to defend its country from terrorist attacks from Iran and its proxies without permission. This cannot stand and it will not stand.

Thank you, my friend, for your most gracious wishes.
I fully agree with you. India-Israel friendship will continue to grow from strength-to-strength in the years to come.
@IsraeliPM@netanyahu
Our fabulous military, on the orders of our great POTUS, is hammering Iranian positions now in response to the Iranian regime shooting down one of our helicopters. How much more delay and attack we will tolerate from this enemy.
To be clear, this is exactly what Israel and its great leader did the other night when the same enemy fired 11 ballistic missiles at its civilian populations.
Thank you to the big guy, God.
Thank you to the Republican primary voters for your confidence in me and rejecting garbage. I have the best team in politics. President Trump’s endorsement is the gold standard in the Republican world.
To my South Carolina team, my dear friend Senator Tim Scott, Governor McMaster, Congressmen Fry, Wilson, Timmons, and so many others - thank you.
To my dear sister and her family, I’m forever grateful for the way you stand up for your brother.
On to victory in November.
THE LEAK IN AXIOS WAS A VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW AND PROVIDED SUPPORT TO THE IRANIAN REGIME AND ITS HEZBOLLAH PROXY
Whomever leaked that story to Barack Ravid at Axios did a grave disservice to our country, to our president, to Israel, and to Israel's prime minister. The Iranian regime will benefit from that leak, viewing us as weak and desperate for a deal -- even coming to Hezbollah's defense. The Israeli people will also be furious. The missiles are aimed at them, not Washington. And for 100 other reasons, what was thought to be a devasting political hit on Netanyahu by the leakers about a private call between heads of state has done much damage to us and our military and our diplomatic strategy. And if the leakers or others believe Israel should abandon its survival for some deal, they will have a very hard lesson to learn. If the substance of the call is accurate, it is bad enough in my view.
Will there be an FBI investigation to determine who leaked? If not, why not?
