Omna Tigray condemns a dangerous narrative that, without evidence, casts #Tigray's IDP camps as hideouts for TPLF leaders and demands they be searched. A widely shared example is a post by commentator Desye Ashenafi. This is incitement against displaced civilians.
Omna Tigray is alarmed by reports from Sheraro, #Tigray, confirmed by our team on the ground. On October 4, 2026, at ~2:30 AM, a drone strike hit a makeshift shelter at the Adi Abay IDP camp in Hawelti, Sheraro, killing at least nine displaced civilians as they slept — six from one family.

Another day, another #Ethiopi|an #drone attack on #civilians in #Mekelle.
“…most of Wednesday's victims were hit in a second strike after people had gathered to assist victims of a first hit.”
💔
This is wrong on so many levels.
#TigrayGenocide#TigrayUnderAttack
A recent United Nations report said almost everyone in Tigray — some 5 million people or 90% of the region's population — needed food aid. https://t.co/EdJ4QN58ND

Today marks 600 days of #TigrayGenocide
For the millions of Tigrayans both in Tigray & Ethiopia the last 600 days has been war & genocide. Disconnected from the world & forced into man made famine by the Ethiopian govt. with no banking or telecommunication services
The healthcare system in Tigray has deteriorated over the course of a year. Eritrean forces looted + destroyed hospitals. Now they are actively blocking food, medicine & supplies from reaching civilians. #WithdrawEritreanTroops@StateDept@UN_HRC@WHO https://t.co/JuxAoFbsim
Clothing as Gauze. This is what Ayder hospital, #Tigray’s largest hospital in its capital #Mekelle, is resorting to in order to continue its surgical services.
The @IntlCrimCourt has neglected Tigray as millions grapple with a man-made famine. Eritrean troops are also terrorizing civilians + blocking aid. It's time to #WithdrawEritreanTroops and open the humanitarian corridor. @ministerBZ@DutchMFA@KarimKhanQC https://t.co/FqYDfLlTML
Day 437 of #TigrayGenoicde
Today we continue our 3 day mourning period for all those whose lives were taken unjustly, by genocidal regimes. We remember those as we continue to amplify their voices to end the suffering of #Tigray|ans everywhere.
Forever in our hearts 💛❤️
"The doctors identified 117 deaths and dozens of complications, including infections, amputations and kidney failure, which they said were linked to shortages of essential medicines and equipment." The Ethiopian govt must #EndTigraySiege. @WHO@NIH@GHS https://t.co/7MxPkFr5PS
Civilians in Tigray are facing death due to starvation and inadequate medical care. Although it's very late, the lifting of the siege could save lives. We need the @UN to take action now! #EndTigraySiege@MFAofArmenia@AustriaUN@MFABulgaria@ministerBZ https://t.co/7MxPkFr5PS
Aid agencies suspended their work in Tigray due to airstrikes by @PMEthiopia. These attacks on civilian populated areas such as homes, market places & displacement camps are war crimes. #EndTigraySiege @TimmermansEU @JanezLenarcic@VDombrovskis@vestager https://t.co/VtqydN6bjw
Day 433 of #TigrayGenocide.
The release of political prisoners has been followed by air strikes & killings of #Tigray|ans. The IC must not distract itself by such releases, it cannot afford to overlook the continual siege. @UNGeneva@vickyford@USAmbUN#NoFlyZoneInTigray
#427DaysOfTigrayGenocide
For over a year Tigray has remained sealed off from the rest of humanity, yet the international community has failed to apply the required pressure on @AbiyAhmedAli to end the siege.
#ReconnectTigray
#428DaysOfTigrayGenocide
The Int. community has failed to deliver its obligations under Responsibility to Protect, millions are suffering under a genocidal regime. We demand the UK take heed of the continued calls for peace by the National Govt of Tigray. #TigrayGenocide
Two weeks have gone by since the Tigray gov’t withdrew its forces from Afar+Amhara. Yet, Tigrayans are immensely suffering to date without any sign of peace or humanitarian aid reaching their territories.
@SecBlinken@JosepBorrellF do more to end the #TigrayGenocide & save lives.
Ethiopia’s federal army is currently engaged in a brutal civil war with a rebel group from the Tigray region. On Facebook, calls for the murder and mass internment of ethnic Tigrayans have proliferated
