@synopsi That would be ARPPU (average revenue per paying user) and not ARPU (average revenue per user, including free ones)? So wouldn’t your predicted added revenue be lower (Number of download * 20USD * Conversion Rate to Payment)?
Hey @joshpuckett do you know other accounts that give their perspectives on living a good life? I like your stuff, and my timeline rn is too full of just techbro stuff.
@HHaandr@RevenueCat Thanks, figured it out. Definitely not obvious, as it was a different flow than what I do to change text in the canvas for intro offers.
RevenueCat feature request: be able to customize an icon properties based on whether an introductory offer is available. Goal is to show a gift box icon only to users with a free trial, but it’s currently impossible.
@HHaandr@RevenueCat
@djraz369 I think you should talk about what you think flagged your account. From what I saw you didn't really talk about that and I think that would be the most interesting part. For example which paywall design you tested that might have been the trigger
@raphaelsalaja Is there anything specific I should be doing for it to retrieve my past X bookmarks? I had installed the chrome extension and stayed in the bookmarks page, but that didn't work (harvesting started but failed all the time).
I know Apple new leadership is putting a lot of focus on the App Store, and the company seems more open to listening to developers. Here are a few ideas I’d love to see:
1. Gradual app rollouts
When you have a lot of users, releasing a buggy update can be very costly. It would be great to roll out new builds to a small percentage of users first, then gradually increase the rollout. And, of course, have the option to quickly roll back an update if something goes wrong.
2. Search query analytics
It would be great to see which search terms lead users to download your app. Apple already has this data. Sharing it with developers would help us better understand our audience, improve ASO, and build products that better match what users are looking for.
3. A warning system for developer accounts
How about a yellow card system before closing developer accounts? Everyone should have a chance to fix an honest mistake, as long as it’s not a serious or intentional violation. Give developers a warning and time to fix the issue. If it happens again, then take stronger action, up to account termination.
Sometimes, a warning and a chance to fix things can make all the difference.
@johnternus 👋
@dankuntz I’m sure some people told you already, but I’d really love if you made one without the camera. I feel like if I brought it around, people around me would feel uncomfortable (so reducing my reputation/status). See meta glasses being called creepy
