In general relativity, matter tells spacetime how to curve.

You input information about matter, and the theory tells you how space curves and how time runs around it. In other words, time is part of the output.

Researchers using the Event Horizon Telescope @ehtelescope have improved the resolution of black hole images by 50% using higher frequencies (345 GHz) and combining data from telescopes in Spain, Hawaii, and Chile. This advancement will allow scientists to capture more detailed images of black holes, revealing new insights into their structure and behavior.

The enhanced resolution is comparable to seeing a large coin on the Moon from Earth. This breakthrough promises to uncover previously hidden details about black holes.
