The U.S. military was charged $4,361 for a half inch metal pin that costs $46.
Why? Defense contractors—with ties to private equity—are raking in excess profits.
Instead of cracking down, Trump's DoD is inviting private equity to be MORE involved in our national defense.
Iran won’t close the Strait
Iran better open the Strait
Iran has 2 days to open the Strait
Iran has a week to open the Strait
NATO, open the Strait
I’ll bomb your critical infrastructure if Strait isn’t opened
I don’t care about the Strait
No ceasefire till Strait is open
President Trump’s long-running series of declarations that “nobody” knew or expected things that were widely known or expected has continued into the Iran war: https://t.co/G1HuspU0JA
Trump to Local 12 Cincinnati: "There's never been a better year for a president. I've been rated-- there's never been a better first year than what we had. That includes the stoppage of 8 wars with a 9th to come. The economy is roaring. It's phenomenal. That's why I'm here. This is an excursion, a little excursion, and I think it's only that."
See this analysis by @KelseyDav: “Wikoff’s failure to comprehend key technical realities suggests he misunderstood the Iranian nuclear proposal and was ill-prepared to negotiate an effective nuclear agreement.”

You need to understand your opponent, you need to bring experts to help explain what you don’t know. Both on Iran & nuke issues. Kushner and Witkoff DID NOT UNDERSTAND an offer that may not have been good enough but was serious. It is like they had a 50% translation

I reported, and it is a serious issue, that Witkoff and Kushner DID NOT UNDERSTAND the Iranian proposal or nuclear issues and continue not to understand. https://t.co/wKp7UgpWBu
Israel is doing major damage to its mortal enemy Iran. But Iran expert Danny Citrinowicz says Israel isn’t thinking through the unintended consequences of its military campaign. https://t.co/HNiCAOfilU
"AI-generated fake videos of the Iran war have joined the cruder wartime trickery we’re used to seeing (mislabeled old footage, mislabeled game clips, etc.) in deceiving people on social media. The AI fakes are still imperfect, but they’re pretty good":
Fake explosions, fake missiles, fake captured troops, fake downed planes, fake panicked people, fake mourning people…
Social media is littered with a very large number of AI-generated fictional videos and images of the Iran war: https://t.co/98x5uFCLiC
The truth is that Iran halted the military dimension of its nuclear program in 2003, largely in response to the U.S. invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan.
The problem is that the administration’s deep lack of understanding of the Iranian regime contributed both to the collapse of negotiations and to the belief that the system might collapse after the elimination of Khamenei.
This is not a theoretical or academic issue. Misreading an ideologically driven regime like Iran’s while simultaneously threatening it with regime-ending pressure can easily lead to escalation rather than capitulation.
As much as I would like to be wrong, the regime is unlikely to surrender or fold. And the administration’s limited understanding of Iran will make it extremely difficult to construct an endgame that is anything other than a unilateral halt to the war.
On this international women’s day, thinking of millions of Afghan women and girls who continue to be denied their basic rights as a matter of government policy by the Taliban including the ongoing ban on education for girls over the age of 12 #InternationalWomensDay2026#IWD2026
🔥This is an astonishing piece of work that explains why the Iran Israel war has been in the works for over 40yrs.
