@wccftech You gotta stop using preset M with Quality mode for comparisons, kinda misleading since its known new presets have higher performance penalty and are meant to be used with M-perf and L-ultraperf.

@WillySarahan @dlss_swapper Yes, performance penalty for M and L is also higher if you go beyond performance mode. Based on that and also the over-sharpening K is the best option for Q and above

@WillySarahan @dlss_swapper This is from my own experience with Spider-man 2. I have a gaming laptop and for that I found the sweet spot for custom scaling - 55%. I tried preset M without changing it to 50 and that made the environment look over sharpened making weird artifacts especially around meshy textu

@WillySarahan @dlss_swapper For DLAA, stick with preset K. M or L would result in over sharpening resulting in weird artifacts if you use them for anything more than the recommended baseline (high perf-L, & perf-M)

@WillySarahan @dlss_swapper Best is subjective, but as per the discussions I have seen around newer presets (L and M). If you are planning on gaming in 4k then L would be good on ultra performance (33%) and M would be good for ~1440p on performance mode (50%).
