@_wearepossible These large SUV vehicles are choking everywhere, including our rural villages.Large amounts of wild life are being squashed under their wheels. We are seeing people keeping their pets indoors with no fresh air. A cat 🐈‍⬛ has no chance on a busy traffic rural road. Who owns a SUV?

@francesca_kms @willnorman Cambridge City are leading in a cycling normalisation culture. Plenty of cycling going on and respect from drivers in motorised vehicles. Air pollution is improved by the e vehicles not emitting harmful particulates. Lungs are protected. Parking bicycles in large dedicated sites.

@michaelblackcab @TfL @MayorofLondon Get rid of the cars. Trade vans and cargo bicycles accepted as parked vehicles. Encourage walking and cycling. A simple formula of selfless behaviour. Taxi for the people who find it difficult to walk or need support. Other cities manage without all the moaning. ✅

@but_cyclists Agree that E bicycles are power machines. Insurance, registration, number plates are used on motor vehicles such as cars, lorries, vans, motorbikes etc. and collisions still occur. The aim is responsibility and claims after a road accident or collision incident. Needs a debate.

@BobFromAccounts The cyclist was behind the car,motorist was turning left and cyclist could hold back to allow this.The indicator was on.If the cyclist had been ahead and the car cut them off by overtaking and turning …then we see a collision. Mutual respect is needed.Common sense is very rare?

@SafeCyclingEire It is a type of inverted envy.Most negative thinking about cyclists is based on resentment.People who rarely exercise properly & cannot bear the thought of using any other form of vehicle but their car.They are wedded to their car.Deep down they know physical activity is best.🚴🏾‍♀️

@CyclingKent101 The hierarchy of vulnerability.Pedestrians,cyclists,horse riders & people using disability scooters are vulnerable. A mechanised motor vehicle is power on wheels, speeding faster and capable of injuring or killing other humans. Agree cyclists beware but can they hear e-vehicles?

@siantinkerbell @Jenny_1884 Genetics? In the past many disabled people died young in workhouses, lived in secure residential mental hospitals or coped with little support in misery. Hidden away from society. NHS & Community Care Act 1990 changed this ensuring people with disabilities could live in society.

It is possible to use calming techniques & appropriate communication with severely affected people. It takes time and effort, understanding & support.Unique preparing skills beforehand.

@Noel_Taxitunes @BobFromAccounts Stick to cycling. It is human exercise. Helps to make the body healthier and prevent later life diseases. Motoring does not do this. Have an out of car experience and balance health with time spent in comfort at a mechanical wheel that controls movement? Combine transport modes?

@BobFromAccounts We are outriders….older people who are permanently wed to the right to cycle everywhere on our bicycles with consequences. No chemical emissions coming from our 🚴🏾‍♀️🚴🏾‍♀️ vehicles. Then we consider our traffic congestion which is zero. Just freewheeling through life with nature🦋

Dare I say this…car ownership is programmed into minds.Getting about by public transport, cycling or walking is easy.Reducing carbon release travel is an aim.🌍

Digital world has changed planet Earth, shrinking timing and delivery of communication. A fast, frenetic & disordered world?

@Jenny_1884 The welfare bill is high.Benefit claiming is high.Taxes on the elite wealthy needs reviewing.Employment opportunities need priority to enable more people to work. Green technologies & training programmes for new generation workers set up. Food security sorted. 🌍 Climate = Adapt.
