In spirit of sharing ideas: I’m piloting a new education initiative in Aug for trainees in acute med. I hope to improve clinical feedback for docs & give more opportunities for them to get the WPBAs they need for portfolios by removing their need to ‘hustle’ to get them completed
Get round a table and chat about it then, Stevie. Unilaterally refusing to just makes you seem a bit... shit at your job? (PS your basic MP salary has gone up 31% since you were somehow elected in 2010.)
@dean_susi@zackferguson@acutemedicine@RCPhysicians Yes thanks. @AcpsNuh are extremely lucky to have a very established trainee acp programme. The RCP ACP doc although excellent ,for experienced ACPs adds little to what we already have .
Old perceptions die hard! Great to see the modern multi professional, multidisciplinary workforce in action on our tellies. Cardiology support in our ED is fantastic. Team working at its best where competency and expertise reside across the professions #❤️ACPs @TeamNUH @AcpsNuh
@claireozz@cn150 @rallybird2 @joey_giles_RN @ElouiseGreenwoo Waiting with baited breath . This is desperately needed for more experienced ACPs whom have not exited HEIs with lifelong E-portfolio access.
After lots of work from @AcpsNuh@NUHACPRandI@acpleadership and others we have now launched a framework to support a resourced and standardised approach to the development and career progression of NUH Advanced practitioners.
@AnnMarieRiley10@UHNM_NHS Absolutely fantastic achievement @scott1malton .. I reckon It was definitely those scary acute med days that set you up for big things 😉. You’ll be a fantastic chief nurse .
@AliDinning@CCOTNUH @CCC_Outreach @cherylcrocker4@BlagdenTracey@NUHNursing I remember you and @suehaines1 teaching on my crit care foundation course and inspiring me to want to do CCOT. Never quite worked out that way but I’ve had the pleasure of working with you throughout my career nonetheless . Good luck x
