@reikopuls@CantonNetwork@ConsoleWallet Reaction was purely because it's not the first time I hear "PixelPlex built Loop" and you also pointed me to the reason -> their website.
@reikopuls@CantonNetwork@ConsoleWallet Thanks for clarifying. As you know, they are a dev shop. They helped build out the first version of Loop more than a year ago. Loop has since then been completely re-written internally by our team.
We are experiencing the first step out of the Sandbox environment blockchain industry has been for the last 15 years. Congrats @fairmint@CantonStrategic and all @CantonNetwork crew

Posts like this make it quite clear that canton-network:native is consuming growing space rent-free in the minds of some. What could they be worried about… the possibility that Canton becomes the primary settlement layer for traditional finance? Your leader @VitalikButerin told you guys that ethereum:native was never built to go after that. Why so much FUD?
First, credit for the effort and the solid work you put into this, instead of throwing accusations with no substance like some people with a professor title do on X regularly.
Two corrections:
App coupons are capped at $1.50, so rewards aren’t unlimited. And with current coupon dynamics, apps lose money on traffic unless they charge users. Every $1 burned earns one coupon, and coupons are currently worth about $0.30-0.40. Add the validator reward of ~$0.20 and an app gets back at most $0.60 for every $1 it burns.

That’s why Temple charges fees. It’s proof rewards don’t cover costs, not a loophole.
Burn vs mint is the right metric though. Agreed there, and it’s what the network has been saying all along.

@YuvalRooz@CantonNetwork I agree. We really don't talk much about it but shit gets done without bells and whistles. The teams running SV infrastructure on @CantonNetwork are one of the most competent group of people I've worked with.
Can someone please research how big the uncleared swaps market is?
What’s really cool about this project is that swaps are multi-year contracts requiring daily maintenance. When it all happens on-chain, there’s no need to reconcile. Money gets returned faster, which is more efficient.
Expect more firms to join soon and on-chain volumes to increase. This is super exciting.
Thank you to the great partners who made this possible: @SPGlobal@KaikoData@MarexGlobal@DRWTrading@CantonNetwork canton-network:native
