Hopefully not a controversial take:
PlayStation vs XBox vs Switch: no one cares, it's about games.
Godot vs Unreal vs Unity: no one gives a fuck, it's about games.
It's important to discuss tools but let's not lose focus on what's important
@VictrisGames This was done because a lot of people that used the Pro version, would do so only to remove the "Made with Unity". Since the middle tier has been removed they are adding this "feature" to the free version. It has nothing to do with canceling unity games (70% of the industry)
@bitbrain I make assets for a living, I'm stressed as very. I'm happy that for once consumers put pressure enough on a corporation to revise the pricing model. This is a warning to Unity (and all other engines). I hope they they'll be more careful and I know we'll be more thoughtful
@emi_cpl Is there a guesstimate on when the store could be up?
I'm looking into porting my tools into Godot so even a very vague timeframe would be super valuable (next year, beginning of summer, end of the year). Tnx!
I created a Snap to Grid system (alternative to the Unity out of the box solution) to handle edge cases:

Instead of placing individual separate snow objects, you can simply turn on a snow layer and activate snowfall. (You can also change the wind direction π)
Feel free to try out my mapmaker!
