The medical community has been aware of the health disparities between Black and White Americans for the past 35 years, but they unfortunately remain prevalent today.
In 2017, the average black household made $40,165 with 1/5 likely to be uninsured, while the average white family made $65,845 with only 1/8 likely to be uninsured.
