A simple flawed human, hoping for a better tomorrow and knows that "this too shall pass" is applicable to everyone and every moment. AI is the final hope.
Concerns about AI advancements highlight fears among the elite about losing power. The idea of leveling societal hierarchies threatens those accustomed to privilege, fearing equality with historically lower sectors. This shift could disrupt centuries-old dynamics of dependency
@aelluswamy Or is it just the bell curve meme ..first we think AI is dumb, then we think it’s utopia, and then we come back down to ‘wait, is a lot of this just hype?
@alexandr_wang anyone know the girl at 0:44? Asking for a friend who suddenly believes in love at first sight. Strictly for research purposes, of course…
@andrewztan Also, anyone know the girl at 0:43?Asking for a friend who suddenly believes in love at first sight…Strictly for research purposes, of course..
@lilyofashwood Don’t u think this is overhyped? I know how capable Astra 6 is, but people probably would’ve feared the internet too if they saw where it was headed. Maybe AI is different, but every breakthrough now gets framed as an existential threat.
@treeonchain Why not someone build something so people can learn these topics by doomscrolling( I know instead of asking someone I should be the one building it)
@flowersslop We’re all placing our bets on this world-shifting future but when the brightest minds start jumping ship, it makes you pause. If the breakthrough is truly near, why leave now? Either they’ve seen something we haven’t, or maybe… the dream isn’t unfolding the way we imagined.
We don’t ask artists to know how paint is made or expect dogs or animals to understand physics when chasing a ball.
In the same way, AI will let people create without needing to know the tech underneath.
Imagination will lead, and the tools will follow...
@ilyasut Still waiting for the day when this is proven right ..when we value people simply for being human, not for how intelligent they are. A world where the quality of life isn’t measured by the salary or title earned through privileged access to intelligence, but by how human they are
We think we’re smarter when others don’t know what we do.
But truth is ..we learned it just months ago, thanks to timing, books, WiFi, or just life being kind enough to give us space to learn..
Knowledge isn’t superiority. It’s access.
That’s why I love AI .. it ends the gatekeeping.
You’re not smarter. Just early.
AI isn’t reinventing apps or software .. it’s making them work the way they always should have. Smarter design, cleaner flows, self-driving systems. Even coding feels different ..like we’re finally building what should’ve been obvious all along.
@AravSrinivas I don’t know why we treat suffering like a badge of honor😅..Maybe all the dramatic videos made us believe pain equals purpose. But greatness doesn’t always need pain ,peace builds too, just more quietly.
He used AI to crack the interview and used AI on the job ..that’s not failure, that’s evolution. The real issue? A team stuck in the Jurassic, terrified of tools they don’t understand. It’s like dropping a Formula 1 car in a village of bullock carts and blaming the driver when the others can’t keep up
@tunguz Maybe it’s always been this way..but now we’ve forgotten how to separate sincerity from strategy. The real loss isn’t just trust in others, but the gentle art of accepting kindness without armour😄
@aleks_madry@sama Feels like we’re chasing AGI as a destination as usual, but forgetting it’s a mirror..The tech’s moving fast, but what’s missing I feel is coherence between capability and consequence, progress and purpose..The question isn’t just “how close,” but “close to what exactly?😅
@davidpattersonx Felt the same surge of hope during the AI boom. Then came the reality..compute bottlenecks, geopolitics, and power imbalances. Abundance isn’t automatic. Progress isn’t equal. The future won’t just need tech..it’ll need wisdom
Ancestors stacked cash with loose rules, loopholes, & shady moves back in the day. Now their heirs reap the power & wealth. When the less privileged push for their cut today, elites block them, preaching ethics & rules. Unfortunately history repeats: power & wealth cycle on repeat.
Interviewers rejecting candidates for using AI… seriously? In an age where knowledge is commoditized, the candidate smartly using AI probably has deeper insights than the interviewer. Maybe it’s not the candidate but our outdated interviews that deserve rejection.🤷🏽
@BorisMPower True AGI isn’t about fitting the letters "AGI" ..it’s when people are free to chase their passions, no 9-5 grind, no survival stress. Just a world where food, shelter, and basics are abundant. That’s real intelligence ..one that unlocks limitless human potential.
