Very strong positioned anti-Israel and pro-Palestine South Korean president Lee Jae-myung strongly criticized Israel's seizure of a Gaza aid floatilla carrying South Korean activists, calling the action excessive and inhuman.
He questioned the legal basis for the seizure, asking whether the incident occurred in Islrael territorial waters or involved any violation of Israel sovereignty by the third-country vessel.
He emphasized that the ship was carrying volunteers delivering aid.
Lee described Israel's actions as crossing a line : capturing and detaining third-country nationals on a civilian aid mission in an area under Israeli military control, even thought it was not in Israeli waters.
He called this an "illegal invasion" logic and argued that a country engaged in conflict does not have the right to arbitrarily seizure third-country vessels.
He instructed officials to protest strongly and demand the prompt release of the detained South Korean national, stressing that detention jacked international legal justification.
Regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Lee noted that the International Criminal Court (ICC) had already issued an arrest warrant for him on war crime charges.
He pointed out that that most European countries have declared they would arrest Netanyahu if he enters their territory.
Lee then directed Korean officials to review whether South Korea should also issue or recognize such a warrant.
The National Security Advisor responded that they would examine it.

The election was rigged by the government deliberately not providing sufficient ballots to polling locations likely to produce heavy majorities for opposition candidates.
The "Garden of Gratitude" at Gwanghwamun Square is memorial and commemorative space that opened on May 12, 2026, to honor the Korean War (6.25 War) veterans and participating nations.
It embodies gratitude toward the 23 participating countries that sacrificed for the freedom and peace of the Repubic of Korea.
On the ground level, there are 23 stone monuments called "Light of Gratitude 23", each 6.25 meters tall (symbolizing June 25, the date the War broke out). Design in the shape of a "Present Arms!" salute, they symbolize the dedication of participating nations.
The monuments are arranged in the order of participation, from the United States in tje South to the Republic of Korea in the North.
In the underground space, "Freedom Hall" serves as a media experience area featuring participatory exhibitions such as the Memorial Wall, Windows of Connection, and Wall of Archiving Gratitude.
In truth, it is regrettably late that such a honoring the dedication of these participating nations has been established.
However, some left-wing figures, including Prime Minister Kim Min-Seok and others inclined toward pro-North Korea and pro-CCP positions are holding picket protests around mo6and demanding their removal.
They are denying tje legitimacy of the Repblic of Korea, which was defended at the cost of blood by the ROK-U.S. alliance and the United Nations forces, and committing the atrocity of disparaging the noble sacrifices of more than 40,000 United Nations soldier who gave their lives at the altar of national defense.
If you have the opportunity to visit Korea, I sincerely ask that you make sure to visit this noble site.
Additionally, beyond the 22 UN participating countries, we must not forget Japan's secret participation in minesweeping operations during the Korean War, which is an important part of history that should be remembered.

South Korea’s Defense Ministry considers allowing civilians into areas just 5km from North Korea.
The ministry is reviewing a plan to shrink the civilian control zone from 10km to 5km — meaning ordinary citizens could move far closer to the DMZ.
But Seoul is already dangerously close to the North, within an hour’s reach of artillery fire. President Trump, during his first term, highlighted this risk while visiting Korea, warning that the capital sits “far too close” to the North.
So why is the left-wing Korean government pushing to bring civilians even nearer to the North Korean border? It’s a needless and reckless move that puts lives at risk.

South Korea’s Drug-Free Reputation Is Gone — And Beijing’s Influence Is a Big Reason
1) From Drug-Free to Drug-Flooded
South Korea once prided itself on being drug-free. But under the left-leaning Moon Jae-in administration (2017–2022), pro-China policies and a large influx of Chinese nationals began to change that. Since then, narcotics have spread rapidly, and the problem is now spiraling out of control—threatening the country’s youth.
2) China-Sourced Drugs and the “Throwing” Dead-Drop
Most of the drugs now flooding into South Korea are coming from China. Once smuggled in, they’re distributed through a dead-drop “throwing” method:
Dealers and buyers never meet, connecting via Telegram, the dark web, or other encrypted apps.
Payment is made in cryptocurrency or with prepaid cards.
Dealers hide the stash near roadside bushes, building corners, under utility poles, or in apartment utility rooms.
They send geotagged photos to the buyer, who retrieves it.
This makes ringleaders hard to catch; instead, only young “throwing” part-timers are often arrested. The method has supercharged the spread of narcotics nationwide.
3) Negligence and Rising Crime Under Lee Jae-myung
The Lee Jae-myung administration has worsened matters by allowing a large inflow of Chinese nationals without robust background checks or safeguards. Drug crimes are rising—and so are voice-phishing scams tied to the same networks.
4) Forged IDs and a Booming Online Black Market
Illegal outfits openly sell forged IDs, graduation certificates, and other documents.
Accounts with names like “ID Maker” advertise counterfeit national ID cards.
Purported buyers post “reviews” of their purchases.
On X (Twitter), the hashtag #졸업증명서위조 (“fake graduation certificate”) has been used in more than 20,000 posts, trending near the top.
Tens of thousands of related accounts pop up; new ones replace those reported.
Many Koreans say this is “beyond serious—it’s already over.” Yet authorities have not mounted a meaningful crackdown, fueling suspicions of tacit tolerance while speeding the inflow of Chinese nationals.
5) Woo Won-shik’s Beijing Trip and a Visa-Waiver Deal
On Sept. 3, 2025, National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-shik attended China’s Victory Day events in Beijing and met North Korea’s Kim Jong-un. He soon returned touting a visa-waiver deal with Beijing. Around the same time, reports in China said police were seizing citizens’ passports en masse.
Analysts see this as Beijing managing outbound flows to South Korea—facilitating illegal migration and identity fraud. The flood of forgery ads online mirrors tactics the Chinese Communist Party used in Xinjiang, Tibet, and Hong Kong.
6) Anti-U.S. Agitation and a Quiet Press
Rather than protect the public, Lee Jae-myung is seen as aligning with Beijing while stoking anti-American sentiment at home. In public he talks “balance” between Washington and Beijing; in practice, his government deepens exchanges with the CCP.
Even as large protests erupt in Seoul, mainstream outlets have largely stayed quiet—muting public anger and shielding the administration from scrutiny.
