#UPDATE: #Somalia Transfers #US-Wanted Fraud Suspect Despite No Extradition Treaty
Somali authorities have assisted the United States in the arrest of Abdikerm Eidleh, a man accused of leading a major fraud scheme linked to #Minnesota. Eidleh was apprehended in #Mogadishu during a joint operation involving Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency (#NISA) and U.S. law enforcement officials before being transferred to the United States to face criminal charges.
According to U.S. prosecutors, the case involves allegations of large-scale financial fraud and the misuse of public funds. Following the arrest, the #FBI praised NISA for its role in locating and apprehending the suspect. Christopher D. Dotson, Special Agent in Charge of FBI #Minneapolis, said the operation demonstrated the strength of the FBI’s global law enforcement partnerships, adding that the FBI “will track down and bring to justice any fugitive, from anywhere.” He also expressed appreciation to NISA for its outstanding cooperation.
The case has sparked debate among some legal analysts, who have questioned the legal basis for Somalia’s decision to transfer Eidleh to the United States, noting that the two countries do not have a formal extradition treaty. They argue that the transfer raises legal and constitutional questions about the procedures followed and whether the suspect’s rights were fully protected.
The arrest also comes amid heightened political tensions, as U.S. President Donald Trump has repeatedly made controversial remarks about Somalia.
Trump has described Somalia as a country without a functioning government or effective institutions while advocating stricter immigration measures affecting Somalis. Many Somalis and legal observers view these remarks as hateful and racist, arguing that they unfairly target an entire community and cast a negative image of the country, making the timing of the transfer particularly sensitive.
Abdirihman Samawade; don't you know that the Immigration use Advanced Passenger Information (API) which means “ the information is received by US immigration when the ticket coming to USA is issued and they can stop before traveling where ever the traveler is located, why don'tthey stop before his travel?
The Trump administration baseless claims justifying the denial for admission of Omar Abdulkadir Artan clearly indicates that this is part of the bad images of nation deciminted by Trump himself, so the racist US current failed leader worried that the Somali people like Omar Are enough response against the negative insult he used to address the whole Somali. Omar is also good example of exactly what Somali people are.
Omar Artan didn’t just make the #FIFAWorldCup, he made history as the first Somali referee to get there, and as #Africa’s best. That milestone stands no matter what. So sorry to see this, Omar. You reached the summit of your profession and inspired a generation back home just by getting there, and being kept off the pitch you earned doesn’t change that. This won’t be the end of your story on the world stage. The world stands with you as one family, wishing you resilience now and many more major finals to come. Solidarity. #Somalia
As a World Cup host, the U.S. shouldn't be flippantly barring officials from entering the country to do their jobs.
It's terribly backward.
It's also counterproductive.
Global sports competitions should improve international exchange and relations, not the reverse.
As as we know Midnimo and Nabil Ali don't politically support MHS but he is talking the reality on the ground, I myself I don't support any political features.
Haji Warsame: if some member Statee don't have trust to the current Government why they agree the previous government of Marmajo?
I'm waiting you to apologize your of “ political dishonest”
The Harmonization term of elections, federal and state and district level is important for establishing an effective good governance and State building,.

Multiple reports indicate that Israeli death squad commandos have been captured by Hezbollah's Al-Radwan forces in the Bekaa.
In footage from Nabi Cheit, the person recording can be heard shouting: "They got him, they got him — look, they're here!" Netanyahu is freaking out!
Meanwhile Israeli Broadcasting Authority:
Israel's economy is losing 3.7 billion dollars every day due to the state of emergency.
And there is another beautiful light show made up of a dispersal pattern from the cluster munition warhead this evening over Tel Aviv. You can see the shaped pattern/sections from the ejection of the carrying warheads!
A tail or two countries going in polar opposite directions during time of war:
CNN reports in Iran there is no panic, no concern of a collapse, no uprising while Iran levels the kosher mafia, b@by ki!!er state almost hourly.
Meanwhile Iran keeps delivering new toys to the kosher criminal state.
Check out the new missile used that does not explode immediately while it penetrates fortifications precisely and then detonates them to increase and maximize the damage.” The kosher tribe looked visibly shaken by the results, to put it mildly! FAFO!
Türkiye is Somalia 🇸🇴 solid partners as they came for Somalia during their worst hour when the world has abandoned Somalia 🇸🇴 back in 2011
Türkiye taught the Somalis how to fish instead of giving them fish, and we appreciate their brotherhood 💖
Türkiye 🇹🇷 has shown that they want to see Somalia progress and develop based on not aid but with their own God given resources available in their own country.
Thank you @tuncdemirtas for explaining this
Prof Axmed Ismacil Samatar Oo Weerar Afka ah Ku Qaaday MD Cirro Iyo Fariin Culus
The audience engaged in a debate with two professors regarding Somali Identity Crises.
1. The problem in Somalia is tribalism, including crisis of identity.
2. Despite having the same parents, the Samater professors are clearly divided on the subject of Somali identity.
a. “So-called Somaliland region” was the phrase used by Abdi Samater.
b. Ahmed Samater declared, “Somaliland is where I was born and it defines who I am.”
Axmed’s defense of his Somaliland identity will touch you and fill you with warmth. Even siblings, on a profound level, disagree about politics.
Conclusion:
Somaliland people don’t have an identity crisis, but Somalia do, as they lack written history unlike Somaliland’s rich, several millennia-long heritage.
I always hoped Somalia would partner with Pakistan to rebuild its air force. Seeing it happen now is something special.
Why Pakistan? Because you have to respect the determination and innovation of a country that became a nuclear power against the will of the entire world.
Alhamdulillah. ❤️
