Outgoing EXCO of NASoWS UNILAG, led by Pres. Oluwatosin Salau, visited the NASoW Lagos Chairperson in Aug 2025. They reflected on their achievements, shared hopes for the new EXCO, & future plans. The Chairperson urged them to be worthy ambassadors & uphold Social Work values.
📌 NASoW Lagos received an Award of Recognition from NASoWS UNILAG, presented by outgoing Pres. Oluwatosin Salau & incoming Pres. Naomi Ezechukwu on Sept 18, 2025.
The visit reflected sportsmanship & continuity, with discussions on future collaboration between both bodies.
The establishment of the Council is not a privilege. It is a necessity. It is the bridge between where we are today and where we must be tomorrow: a profession with dignity, a system with structure, and a nation with stronger social protection

The NASoW Lagos team also paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Health Service Commission, where they met with Mr. Chiadika—NASoW member & head of the Commission. It was a fruitful discussion on strengthening the Association’s impact.
The NASoW Lagos team—Chairperson Mrs. Modupeola Sahid-Adebambo, Vice Mrs. Anuolowapo Kafayat Bakare & Secretary Mrs. Lillian Anyebe—paid a courtesy visit to the Dept. of Medical Social Services Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital Yaba, to discuss the Association's way forward.
