I’m running to restore the Ontario deal.
Ontario used to lead. Let’s lead again.

Je me présente pour rétablir le pacte de l’Ontario.
L’Ontario était autrefois leader. Reprenons les devants.
Simply outstanding work by @leaf.
They fought long and hard for a new tort of intimate partner violence and @SCC_eng agreed with them today. It’s a huge legal victory! #law#cdnpoli
Big news: my friend @dylanmarando is running for leader of the @OntLiberal Party. A healthcare exec, political scientist, and former advisor to both the PM and two Premiers of Ontario. Watch his video 👇
NEW: The first candidate to be “greenlit” for the @OntLiberal leadership race is Dylan Marando, a former aide to Justin Trudeau, Kathleen Wynne and Dalton McGuinty.

“Imagine a Prime Minister who walks Canadians through the plan. Here is what we are trying to fix. Here is why this approach makes sense. Here is what success looks like. Here is when you should expect to feel it. Here is what might go wrong.
That kind of transparency does not weaken authority. It builds it. And it’s so different than anything else we’ve seen before.
In my work asking people questions, I see how people respond when leaders explain their thinking in plain language. Even skeptics become more patient and some opponents soften when they feel informed rather than managed. People are far more willing to grant room to manoeuvre when they understand the destination.”

please let the Artemis II crew know, that some of us have been looking up at the moon, whispering 'goodnight' to them, and hoping they return safely. it's important they know how much they're appreciated for all the hard work they're doing, in addition to just being incredibly cool.
with everything happening down here on Earth, their journey has been such a pleasant experience to look forward to. feeling extremely proud of them all and they've made us appreciate space exploration in a whole new way.
we've loved them to the moon and we're looking forward to loving them when they get back, too.
1/ Après l’explosion survenue à #Bujumbura, il est impératif d’organiser sans délai un mécanisme coordonné entre l’administration locale et l’armée pour sécuriser les ménages où des engins non explosés seraient tombés. #Abatwip
*NEW* Canada's population declined for 2nd consecutive quarter b/w Oct 1 2025 and Jan 1 2026.
Fewer people means fewer employed workers and, ceteris paribus, lower GDP.
Let's not make the mistake (again) of interpreting changes in *levels* as changes in economic well-being.

I made a mistake.
I jumped on the Arielle Kayabaga expense story because I immediately assumed it was just one more example of Trudeau Carney Liberal corruption.
It wasn't. I was wrong.

Marc Garneau was a rare politician. He came to the House of Commons as a Canadian space hero and never deviated from setting an example of competence, non-partisanship and exemplary leadership. On a personal level, he was warm, engaging and unusually down to earth. We have lost an inspiring, insightful and compassionate Canadian.

Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation issues a scathing rebuke of Danielle Smith's talks on a national unity crisis.
A big congratulations to @MarkJCarney on his election victory. Mark’s experience in government and business, his deep understanding of markets, and his forward-looking agenda — including his commitment to tackling challenges through international cooperation — will serve Canada well. Our two countries share common values, common interests, and a deep investment in each other’s success. I wish him all the best as he leads Canada into the future.
