If two Protestants have a fundamental disagreement when it comes to Scriptural interpretation and both absolutely believe there is ZERO chance they are incorrect, who is the arbiter to decide which is right and which is wrong?
@Infobattleswars@joshwhitlatch Feel free to provide a link from an official Catholic source where the Catholic faith teaches Mary is a mediator between man and God the Father.
@EricRSammons If someone wanted to recommend a book, by a Catholic author, for you to highlight on your Crisis Point podcast, how can they contact you with the details?
@gloria_purvis Ok, you do realize that during Pre-Civil War, Civil War and Reconstruction the 2nd most lynched group in the US were Catholics, right? You realize the overwhelming majority of abolitionist groups in the US were started/founded by Catholics, right?
@NyinaWaJambo81 So, how do you propose to deal with a Catholic entity that is teaching in fundamental opposition of almost 2,000 years of Catholic teaching?
@Butch30586594@Catholic_Haze Please feel free to provide your credentials/bona fides that allow you to determine one of the most influential theologians in the history of Christendom is "wrong".
@gloria_purvis No, the statistical demographics corroborates this. African American's are overwhelmingly raised in Protestant households during their formative years, this gives them an affinity bias toward Protestantism. Only 4.5% of African Americans identify as Catholic.
@EvidenceOfFaith You know this how? You have been there? You seen first-hand that "she has no idea what you are doing"?
Seems a pretty prideful assumption there.
@SpeelingBChamp I goes WAY back in the history of the Church. Do a little research and find out what St. Nicholas of Myra (yes, the original inspiration for Santa Claus) did to the heretic Arius.
@DefiyantlyFree Just curious, after Jesus called Peter "Satan", did Jesus banish Peter? Or was He just making a point regarding ONE of Peter's misinterpretations?
