@elonmusk As long as it’s Pro and not Home, you can choose “Domain Join” under Sign-In Options instead of creating a Microsoft login at that point in the setup. That will create a local account and you don’t have to ever then join it to a domain.

The idea that bloggers criticizing a politician should register with the government is insane. it is an embarrassment that it is a Republican state legislator in Florida who introduced a bill to that effect. He should withdraw it immediately.
