We were thrilled to welcome His Majesty The King to open the new Seven Sisters National Nature Reserve, part of The King’s series, and launch the King Charles III England Coast Path today. 🌊
These both stand as enduring commitments to protecting nature and public access.
A historic day for Bradgate Park & Swithland Wood and one that we're delighted to be part of! Whether it's ancient trees, unique geology, rare species or just fresh air, there's something here for everyone.
Rainforest discovery day. Evening bat walk. Wildlife Photography. 🦋
These are just three of over 70 events taking place across the country this #NationalNatureReserves Week.

Lincolnshire Coronation Coast, the first of the ‘Kings Series’ of National Nature Reserves, is declared today. One of 25 that will announced over 5 years, I was pleased to explain the ambition for Nature recovery embodied in these reserves to HM The King when he visited in July.
Lincolnshire Coronation Coast National Nature Reserve, England’s newest, is declared. Many partners join @NaturalEngland for celebrations in Cleethorpes, where @MarianSpain reveals the new ‘King’s Series’ logo as we declare the first of 25.
@NaturalEngland Fantastic for birds, and fantastic for natterjack toads as well 🐸 - and for local communities and visitors too of course 💚. Huge well done to all the partners and everyone who made this happen 👏👏
@MaryAnnOchota @NaturalEngland You were brilliant Mary-Ann, the highlight of day alongside Shaun the Sheep! Honestly, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us, really simple, effective and inspiring 😊💚

As well as the wonderful @NaturalEngland National Nature Reserve staff & the brilliant @dynamicdunes team I was very pleased to meet reserve sheep dog Sky (& also this very beautiful Dark Green Fritillary).
The @NaturalEngland team met to ponder ambition for Nature recovery & what we are going to do achieve it. Warm thanks @lizbonnin @MaryAnnOchota & @NTGates for outstanding contributions & to NE colleagues who organised, came & contributed. Great energy & much hope for the future.
Brilliant to see this fantastic and innovative partnership approach flourishing, using #NationalNatureReserves to help secure even greater knowledge and understanding of wildlife in England. Have a great week @NEYorksNLincs@NHM_Science! 💚 #NNRscience
