The KL High Court has awarded a man RM7.4 million in damages after ruling that Ampang Hospital and MOH were negligent in treating him, leaving him permanently disabled.

22-year-old Vimal Raj, who was initially admitted for a treatable condition in 2019, fell into a coma after being discharged prematurely, and later lost his left hand, right leg, and toes, reports FMT.
