@SquawkingSeagul@quakes99 I think they’ll stay stronger than most but if a recession occurs and people are strapped for cash, you don’t think they’re going to at times have to sell off their most liquid asset to get by?
It depends how bad things get.
@uraniuminsider We may be small at the moment but I think there’s a large audience watching the sector from the sidelines pretty closely. The narrative of uranium deficits plus nuclear as the answer to climate change is gaining momentum.
I think this moves fast once it gets going.
@fbx258 Haven’t looked into any of these gold miners individually but with the state of the economy I wouldn’t mind some exposure, you think I’ve missed the boat on a 1-2 year play on gold miners at these prices?
@fbx258 Yeh interesting, on a quick glance a lot of the miners have already had runs on small gains in price of gold, whereas the opposite can be said about uranium minors at this point with big moves in the spot..
@CredibleCrypto Asx - PDN, BOE & DYL. US - Energy Fuels & Ur-Energy.
Check out the Athabasca Basin in Canada as it’s widely regarded and has a host of companies operating. Hope this helps.
@jamesdcurry I disagree with those who say uranium equities won’t be affected at all by a recession. Equities work differently as commodities as funds are forced to sell as per client requests.
However I agree with the point that it would be short lived. I’d see it as a big buying opp.
@ProNuclearAU@numerco $44 was an average of fixed and variable.. fixed price is likely far lower than $44. Hence why not shown in LT price just yet imo
@ProNuclearAU Interested to hear if you think it’s essential to be exposed to American and Canadian listed uranium equities or you think the Australian ones will do just as well?
@quakes99 Prediction:
Mini speculative bubble to inflate uranium equities which pops in 1-2 years due to global recession before the real bull market starts, coinciding with a new global bull market 🚀
@ProNuclearAU Loving your updates on Uranium on the asx and nuclear in general.
Paladin looks poised to rebound. You got your eye on any others on the asx or are you all in here?
@SegraU3O8 @GlobalFire123 @jamesdcurry Agreed. It’ll be interesting if a recession does play out if the “all boats rise as one” scenario also plays out or if only producers run. A market should still take into account the lbs in the ground but we know funding is the major barrier to profitability.
@GlobalFire123 @jamesdcurry It would also be interesting to if a recession changed the “all boats will rise” philosophy. Yes we still need Uranium during a recession but the “you can’t have milk without the cow” argument only really applies to guaranteed producers doesn’t it?
