@AlaskaAir what's up with the website and app? Trying to order my mom's meal for a flight on June 10 and site is down. App won't let her add new payment method either.
@davidalucas00@Janastas@luxemiaa It's a huge deal when there is a tight connection and every minute counts. Or, in my case, my service dog needs to visit the relief area after a long flight.
@fl6060842@Mr_Husky1 30 years ago our neighbors DID call the police because my mom was mowing the grass in shorts and a bikini top (in NC summer heat and humidity)...in a beach town. So while I really do hope this is satire, life experience has shown me otherwise.
@broadwaybabyto My "anxiety" led to an ER visit and emergency surgery. As a complex pt, I respect a doc who says they need to consult with another or do more research (rare bone marrow failure disorder). A old rx has a new side effect warning bc of me after 30+ yrs on the market.
@oliverbrocato Absolutely not. I was available via phone call for emergencies or big items but my time off was exactly that. Time needed to recharge so I could take care of myself. A client actually told me that I needed to take care of myself so I could be remain a strong advocate.
@NYtengoku @QMegaTrump Um, I clearly remember learning in the 5th grade about the parties switching. The formerly conservative democratic party became republican and vice versa. Also I grew up in NC in a city that is now notorious for its 1898 race riots that were concealed for over a century.
@Jessica02396396@HoganKrist35514@AmiriKing Same in WA state. And you can ask vendors for their "seconds" if you don't care about appearance or are planning to cook that day. My fave peach orchard often sells the slightly bruised, split, or "ugly" ones for $1 lb! Perfect for pies/crumbles/smoothies!
@urichani@1Nicdar@robertmblakejr1 If they knew how to properly bag groceries, maybe I'd use the cashier lines more often. But I'm sick of raw meat being bagged with fresh foods. Delicate fruit getting thrown down the line and dropped in the bag, etc. It's easier and faster to do it myself.
@shoveitjack@MonicaGrado2@SpencerHakimian Not everyone. I fly a minimum of 4-6 times a year all across the country. I've had a few incidents of minor frustration bc someone didn't know frozen water was allowed but I've never been delayed or detained beyond a few minutes for a bag check.
@AXP1x1@mwfowlie@SpencerHakimian Security yes but many things are subjective and it's incredibly frustrating. I travel with a small service dog multiple times a year. At least 3 airports have differing protocols for walking her through security (I have pre-check). I just want some consistency across locations.
@mwfowlie@SpencerHakimian I had one positive interaction years ago, it still sticks with me. I had my 18+ yr old dog's cremains. They had to inspect my bag and I immediately started crying. The agent took great care with her urn and gently placed her back in my bag. It was a small moment of humanity.
@sweetkashka@SavageBruski @matt_vanswol Agree! I've seen numerous therapists throughout my life and never has one "told me what to think" or even what to do regarding an issue. I've been given different perspectives to consider but never told xyz was the correct one/wrong one.
@1PamalaStanley@WorldPastDemons@GeneralMCNews I got mine in 2015 when I moved cross country, at that time I did it because it would allow me to cross into Canada without bringing my passport. I made an appt and was out in under 15 min including waiting to take the pic. Getting my TSA pre-check took longer!
@RDUAirport please turn the AC on in terminal 1. It's over 80 outside and stifling inside. Passengers are uncomfortable. The few fans in the TSA area are inadequate for the backlog of travelers waiting. Travel is frustrating enough without the hot airport.
@TwelveGageSage @Mr_FL_Stephen @Kab1200@Wyonne2@thejackhopkins Amazing how quickly people forget that it was France who helped America win independence. I feel like we covered that topic numerous times in school.
@AlaskaAir I'm curious about using #bevledge on Alaska as I've gotten conflicting info on different flights. Are these allowed? Some flight attendants say yes, other say no, is there an official policy?
