Notes: Black line is actuals, red dashed line is forecasts.
It's hard to see from this graph, but there is in fact variation from season to season. Particularly in the earlier sauces.
Emerging from my Masters studies to play around with #TidyTuesday again! Decided to build a #TimeSeries model. Started with RNN before quickly realizing I didn't have nearly enough data (or nonlinear relationships to justify it). ARIMA did really well though! #dataviz#rstats
Since this weeks #TidyTuesday challenge was about analyzing weather forecasts, I decided to do a bit of simple forecasting of my own see how I did in comparison. Specifically in Atlanta, GA. I got pretty close with a simple model! #RStats#dataviz
Long time no post! Got caught up in the school semester. Found time today to explore some kaggle data on hard liquor prices. Whisky and Vodka are the most popular categories, while also being some of the most economical choices.

Back to #TidyTuesday#dataviz projects after a month of travel. Interesting to see that there are very few sectors where there is a pay gap which is both large and in favor of women. I am curious how many of those are women dominated sectors. #rstats (1 of 2)
Quick geom_bump() chart for this weeks #TidyTuesday#dataviz project. Looking at the changes in overall industry rankings from the Axios-Harris Poll. Who knew that Groceries was such a highly reputable industry? #rstats
Look at the Iceland's performance at #Eurovision for this weeks #TidyTuesday#dataviz project. Wanted to see how the release of Eurovision: Fire Sage affected Iceland's points. No significance tested here, but it looks like there *might just be* a relationship. #rstats
Exploring the #NYTimes best sellers list for this weeks #TidyTuesday#dataviz project. Decided to highlight the amazing amount of books #StephenKing has written that show up here. Interesting to learn that The Stand had a resurgence in the early 90s. #rstats
First time drafting #Brokers in #MTGA#SNC. Fairly easy trophy. Turns out to be busted as everyone is claiming. Slip Out the Back to clear away a key blocker winds up being a very real play.
Returning to #TidyTuesday after a busy end of Semester. Instead of ggplot2, I decided to practice plotting in #python with #seaborn this week. It also turns out to be very easy to perform exponential smoothing in python.
