Last weekend's tournament was the Upstate/Limestone Team Camp. I pitched good and had some solid base hits! I look forward to practice and lessons this week to continue to get better! Thank you to the coaches who came to watch us!

We played at the Last Chance Showcase run by @UpstateSoftball and played good competitive softball all weekend! I spoke with and played in front of some excellent colleges. So grateful for the opportunity to play with @nc_rockers at this level to continue to challenge myself!

Even though our weekend got cut short I had a good day both at the plate and on the mound. I hit 500 for the weekend and had no SO offensively. On the mound my curve and drop had great movement, and I had 4 SO in 4 innings. Excited to play in the Last Chance Showcase next week!

We played in the Firecracker Battle on the Border this weekend and won the B bracket with 9 girls all day! I hit 667avg in 8 AB and did good pitching with 4SO. After our one-day tournament, today I went to support our 14u Rockers team! Excited for what's next to come! @nc_rockers

The Seahawk Experience was such a great opportunity to play at @UNCWsoftball and see some amazing competition! We went 3-2 and played competitive softball all weekend! I pitched 81% TS & 9SO in 8 innings. Offensively I had a 333avg

I still haven’t done “a post” that I usually do to “wrap up a season”…. Frankly, the loss is raw as hell.

But I did have “a moment” about 2 hours after our loss today, and had to snap a picture.

We get caught up in wins and losses… it’s a part of it.

But for me… it’s about the relationships.

Parents send their 18 year olds to Greenville, and for the next 3-5 years…
They trust us to be a part of their journey.

We end up developing relationships with them that far surpass friendship… it’s much more like a family.

Tonight, I gave countless hugs, and handshakes to people that I didn’t know 6 years ago… it’s hard to put into words what that feeling is. It hits you right in the feels.

Some of these players will never play baseball again…. And their parents (who spent the last 20 years chasing their kid around the country, going to tournaments, showcases… and hitting baseballs in the backyard).

I was so tired after today’s game… that I was praying for a rainout for my 5yr old’s baseball game.

For a while there I was so incredibly selfish.

I had forgot to take my own advice:

I’m so thankful for the families of the @ECUBaseball players that we have grown to love.

I will never take these moments for granted…

We love you guys
