@AblemanResearch@Strife212 “Knowing the implementation isn't the same thing as understanding the emergent cognitive process.”
At its base, it’s a highly performant (granted that part was unexpected) tokenized hierarchical language database.
Theres no emergent process, it’s faked by hidden prompt inputs.
@AblemanResearch@Strife212 Don’t think I am, more pointing out that the trick is to fake computational irreducibility by altering the interface so structures appear emergent. The variability isn’t in the system. The NN doesn’t spontaneously change its processing. It’s processing different input.
@AblemanResearch@Strife212 There is not an emergent cognitive process.
A tokenizer is deterministic. Same inputs will give the same outputs.
You’re being tricked by hidden inputs that alter the experience so you think it’s “emergent”.
Self reinforcement may alter that, but thats gone wrong every time.
@TheDeviantPro@TexLaskan@Acyn@kayleighmcenany Condemn the sin, not the sinner.
Just sayin.
As if you don’t support sinners. As every human sins, whoever you support is a sinner. Ya can’t get around it, regardless of which high horse ya ride. 🤷🏻♂️
@805peej@CTRainquest@Dan_Donovan_17 The title of active lawyer does. And certainly you can’t represent clients as an inactive lawyer.
Hell, some state’s bar associations even charge less in annual fees for inactive lawyers with inactive status, regardless of reason, but still define them as lawyers.
@magdagsuko@midnucas@robertgraham I don’t get the C hate from programmers. C is the language that built way too many other languages. Without C to bootstrap these languages, they wouldn’t exist today.
Yea, it excludes a lot of things, but it was C that put most of those things as built-ins into other languages.
@GermanyWX Gotta dig for references. It was 1968. Old newspaper pics.
There were some vids on it too but haven’t followed up on em for more details.
Had family survive the 1999 OKC with only 3 walls of the bathroom left standing so I geek out on tornado convos.
@indycudy I do wonder if that’s because they don’t realize roughly 72% of Canadians live further south than the northernmost point in the continental US, and 50% live further south than North Dakota.
@EconomyComments@Rabadash2 Heck, it could decided that a college education is an asset and call for PhD holders to be in a higher tax bracket. Or age, youth is an asset also. Think of the earning potential between a young PhD vs a retired GED holder.
The educated youth should pay their fair share!
@john_ford77@HMBohemond The widest tornado in US was 4.2 km wide and 26 km long with wind speeds of 504 km/h.
Widest in UK was 900m.
Longest single tornado path in US was over 350 km. Max width 1.6 km and max wind 480 km/h.
Longest in UK was 32 km.
The most recent T8+ (EF4) in the UK was in 1666.
@NoblesLawFirm@CorsoPeter@Iokionioki@TheExtremeMusi1 I know it’s not the same with Neil gone, but Anika Nilles is their drummer and Loren Gold is keyboardist for the 50 Something tour.
Starts June 7th.
