@BlueWestlo It is genuinely (imo) one of the best maps ever designed. Multiple levels, good complexity. Ability to have a variety of engagements BUT… the recon/misriah/bubble meta is too strong atm.
@Byrdman My guess is costs… these types of games cost millions to make and sustain. Unless they hit insane levels of profit constantly, they get shut down.
@the_abduco@kambyyy Saddest thing is if they had updated Destiny and kept the content rolling over the last year, Marathon would have launched to with much more positive narrative. As it stands, everyone loves to hate it.
@Jonbagnato@kambyyy As much as it seems that way. They launched Destiny with a 10 year plan and fulfilled it.
Time will tell on Marathon but I’m hopeful. It’s a great game and can easily gain players over time.
@BrunosEspresso8@Mercules904 Way to kick someone when they’re down bud. Whatever changes he may have been involved in, you didn’t like, he is no where near the asshole you are.
@Bugzvii I’m excited for it. Love perimeter already due the mix of open and close quarter engagements. But share your thoughts. A new map every 3/4 seasons would be optimal (if not unrealistic).
@IFrostBolt I think it’s great they are trying new things, but should really be focusing on PVP. That’s where the game shines and many PvP players are leaving due to lack of incentive.
If they push pve and no one plays. It’ll be really sad.
@chi_is_a_mess I’m not a dev and don’t know better but they’ve made some weird decisions this season.
I do want it to thrive. Such a dope game to build on.
@gore_doII There is still good loot to be found. Just a bit more hit and miss now. Certainly not guaranteed. Hard to fix it now though. Because it was raining good loot in week one and two.
