The casual fan likes tangible statistics not stuff they can’t see. My sole point was for those who like QS as a statistic, it’s actually more meaningful to say <3 ER and >=5 IP as it directly correlates to a >50% win rate rather than the traditional <4 ER and >=6IP

@tangotiger @BaseballAdult @SlangsOnSports Of course, my point was more targeted at the general audience who like 1 all-encompassing or easy to understand metric. At least <3ER and 5+ IP gives you a >50% chance of winning.

General audience doesn’t see “STUFF+” when they watch, nor do many believe it’s relevant.
