Last week I went to Texas — ground 0 for the bird flu spreading across the U.S. — to buy raw milk and test it for the flu.

Why?

Check out this graphic we made based on the reporting (thanks @ndm_visuals). Most of the people I spoke w/ worked inside the death chamber. Of those, none expressed support for executions afterwards, even those that started their jobs in favor of capital punishment. None.
