He’s Not Bowling
But in this surveillance video it kind of looks like he is. Boulder Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the man seen here who thought it was okay to throw a rock through a local business’s front door yesterday.
Early Sunday morning Boulder Police were called to Boulder Gas at 2700 Baseline for a report of a criminal mischief that had occurred. Surveillance video showed a man carrying an orange traffic cone, which he drops next to a median filled with large rocks. The man then drops the cone, picks up a rock, and approaches the gas station door, with the rock in his right hand.
The man disappears from view for approximately three seconds and a rock breaks through the gas station glass door. The man then runs away without the rock in his hand.
The suspect is described as a college-aged white male wearing a backward white baseball cap, a black sweatshirt, white shorts and white shoes.
This occurred at about 4:20 a.m. on Sunday, June 30. If you recognize this person or have any information about this crime, please call us at 303-441-3333 reference case 24-6325
@9NEWS In an arrest affidavit, investigators stated that “based on the totality of circumstances, it appears most likely that Smilianska was asleep at the time of the crash.”
@AaronBrockett12 This makes me sad and mad. But not surprised. I ride my bike for errands and feel like I’m risking bodily injury when riding goose creek underpasses. Boulder needs a city council that will get serious with addressing crime in our town.

@boulderpolice Was hoping to ride my bike down this evening. But after riding thru a gauntlet of homeless in the Bldr Junction underpass earlier today with crap strewn all about I will pass. Sad that I can’t feel safe riding my bike around the city bike paths. The streets are probably safer.
