@ianbirrell Do you know anything about gain of function virus research currently taking place in the UK? I'm somewhat reassured by the HSE's public register - all research proposals have to show they're not GoF. But there's some research not included on the register due to national security

Something has gone terribly wrong with the media/political narrative around lab leak / gain of function that means it's all being almost totally ignored.
