@DoctorKarl is it possible to infect others after being vaccinated with a nasally administered attenuated influensa virus vaccine? As I understand it the virus is modified to remain in the nose and not spread to the lungs, can it be spread by sneezing or poor hygiene?

@noodlemaz @DoctorKarl Ok perhaps there is an amount threshold to trigger a reaction? The reason I ask is I have a freind who has a weakened immune system & her daughter received the vaccine. Within a few days mum came down with heavy typical flu like symptoms, she hadn't been sick for the longest time

@noodlemaz @DoctorKarl Ok thanks, how about a scenario where the vaccine is given to a child who then shortly afterwards picks their nose, then spends time in close proximity with their mother who then rubs her nose, could their be a transfer of enough vaccine material to cause an immune response?
