@FriendlyTester I'm still here, but not very active. I haven't yet got around to Mastodon, are testers still doing that? Seems *loads* of testing stuff on LinkedIn, but much of it seems to be mutual-adulation echo-bubbles, plus quite a lot of aggressive disagreements. Some useful between those.
@NorretteM More than a smell, it seems they boast about it in https://t.co/ta86rhXH1s (the 19 Jul incident was in Falcon). But speed of security updates *is* important to counter "zero-day exploits".
I was going to "repost" this immediately, but having thought: though I love the collection of concepts, I find the garish-distracting background (AI-gen'd??) and lack of relationships between the concepts sub-optimal. Relations-mapping hereby added to my project list - THANKS!
@TerribleMaps Reminds me of the UK #shippingforecast in which occasionally SouthEastIceland needs to be described separately for SoutheastSouthEast Iceland & NorthwestSoutheast Iceland. Usually can hear the narrator struggling to contain sniggering.
@simongerman600 Actually, the middle section is observations, only the 1st & 3rd are forecasts. BTW, the morning & night editions are different lengths, eg latter includes Trafalgar & more numerous observation stations.
@simongerman600 I used to find it relaxing, but in recent times most meteocasters began to end it as the Shipping *Bulletin*. I guessed that was because they would then say "and I will be back in a few mins with a general weather FORECAST, ie they couldn't bear to repeat the F word so soon.
I'm particularly suspicious about #100 as: (a) it consists entirely of words I actually understand, (b) its poster is Anonymous, and (c) no Hint is provided.
Random thought. I do find it astounding that Ron Warmington and Ian Henderson from Second Sight are only getting half a day each to present their oral evidence to the Inquiry. They have been relentlessly attacked by the various Post Office apparatchiks and no-marks (I'm reading Alwen Lyons witness statement on the train up to the Inquiry) who have each been given a day of evidence to make unchallenged allegations about Second Sight's methods and effectiveness.
Second Sight found out more about what specifically was going wrong at the Post Office than any subsequent QC or tech or accountancy firm used to provide "assurance" to the board.
And they get half a day each to make their case at the Inquiry. Very odd.

@tds153@KalteneggerLisa Thanks for mentioning "graviton" at suitable time when no-one else seemed willing to utter the word, but I admired your question why *if gravitational waves distort whole spacetime fabric, why is the detector able to stand aside from this?* I didn't notice any answer, did you?
AI Starts to Sift Through String Theory’s Near-Endless Possibilities
Using AI, string theorists are finally showing how Calabi-Yau manifolds translate into sets of elementary particles — though not yet those of our universe.
