About 8 hours into Gears of War E-Day and I can say that the game performs well, the graphics are great, and the combat is decent

The story isn't engaging like at all. Constant"focus M" dialouge being spoyted at you. Dom and Marcus feel sidelined for the lesbian Carter who they're trying so hard to make the center piece. The rookie is fucking annoying and is like a poor man's attempt at Baird

So if you like the gears combat and just want to run around shooting stuff then it might be for you. But you of actually enjoy great storytelling and characterization like original 3 id say hold off cuz this isn't it in that department

The 7 page muda is probably my favorite scene in jojos from a production standpoint. First of all, the way the barrage is animated is top notch, the smears are so nice. Secondly, the sfx, especially at the “wryy” is amazing. The music placement and the voice acting are also great
