@prat_nath@AlpacaAurelius it seems that msh production would delay tanning/burning in the same UV conditions since it produces melanin, which protects the skin no?
This needs to become illegal. It is data collection + intimidation of existing employees + stock market manipulation + HR pretending to be working. Literally nothing is good about it and it damages the social fabric a lot.
Does Israel have "a right to exist?" The answer is an emphatic NO, and I'll explain why.
For starters, the question itself is manipulative and means one of two things:
(A) The first is that the question means they want something from you. This is the most common. If you concede that yes, Israel has a right to exist, it will be followed by a list of things they need to actualize that right. If Israel has a right to exist, they need our bombs. They need our tax dollars. They need our national resources. They need our veto power at the U.N. Their so-called "right to exist" will require something from us for the right to be conferred. Notice that Americans never go around asking other nations if we have a right to exist. That's because we're not trying to bilk them out of anything.
(B) The second is that the question is asked so that, if we answer in the affirmative, it means we must overlook or excuse whatever horrendous human rights abuse, illegal activity, or immoral action they want to undertake (or already have) - even if it is to the detriment of the United States. This strategy requires Israel to label everything an existential crisis, with Israel's future existence hanging in the balance. Once something becomes existential, then ethics don't matter. If this is an extinction-level event, then it's not the time to worry about the morality of a matter.
Kill women and children? Yes, because Israel has a right to exist. Murder nine civilian non-combatants for every one terrorist? Yes, because Israel has a right to exist. Double-tap missile targets, killing aid workers? Yes, because Israel has a right to exist. Ethnic cleansing in Gaza? Yes, because Israel has a right to exist. Bomb churches? Yes, because Israel has a right to exist. Target journalists? Yes, because Israel has the right to exist. Blow up oil fields? Yes, because Israel has a right to exist. Violate international law? Yes, because Israel has a right to exist. Because nothing is as important as existing, it's the perfect Get-Out-Of-Having-a-Conscience Free Card for a Desert War Cult that wants to act however it wants with impunity.
But there's another reason the question is illegitimate. It's wrongfully open-ended. It's not a complete question. No nation on Earth has a unilateral "right to exist" without qualification; not even the United States. There's got to be an IF on the end of it.
Does Israel have a right to exist...if it requires the rest of the world to live on the brink of WWIII? No. Does Israel have a right to exist if it means bankrupting the United States to guarantee its security? No. Does Israel have the right to exist if it means genocide of its neighbors? No. Does Israel have a right to exist if it's acting in constant violation of international law? No.
The moment a nation has an unqualified "right to exist" is the moment it can get away with whatever it wants, behave in a way that's detrimental to every other nation on Earth, and can even demand you help facilitating its existence because, after all, it has a "right" to it.
Next, logically, we cannot affirm Israel's unilateral "right to exist" over and against the rights of other nations to exist. God Almighty forbids favoritism. He's not a respecter of persons (the Bible says this three times, each time in reference to Jews), and we're forbidden from showing partiality on account of their alleged genetic ancestry. God hates this. It's a sin. If we affirm Israel's "right to exist,
" we must by the same measure affirm the right of Iran to exist. And Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Libya, Lebanon, Jordan, the UAE, Iraq, Syria, et al. And I don't feel like it, do you? Sorry. Step out of line, and you get smoked. That goes for Israel, just like it goes for Iran.
Further, Israel most emphatically does NOT have a divine right to exist. The Abrahamic Promise of Genesis 12:3 is about Christ, and the recipients, or heirs of that promise, are Christians exclusively. Those who have faith in Jesus are the “heirs of the promise” (Galatians 3:29). The Seed referenced in the promise is Christ, according to Paul, and he very explicitly says that it’s NOT Jews (Galatians 3:16). There is no Covenant blessing or promise obtainable or retainable outside of Christ (2 Corinthians 2:10). Romans 9 says that Jews who reject Christ do not belong to Israel (Romans 9:6-8). Romans 11 says that Jews who reject Christ have been rejected by God and they’ve been broken off from Abraham (Romans 11:17–20). Whatever the Dispensationalists claim in the novel eschatology about the future, doesn't change the fact that they are - as it stands now - cut off from the promises of God until at such time they stop persisting in unbelief.
Israel does not have the right to exist on account of an ancient ancestral land deed. Let's presume for a moment that most Israelis aren't more European than they are Middle Eastern. Let's pretend they're more Semitic than the Palestinians who've lived there continually for thousands of years (they aren't). It wouldn't matter if it were true. That's not how the world works. Americans don't have to give back Florida to the Seminole. My ancestors came from the British Isles, but I don't have the right to Buckingham Palace. The land known as Palestine has been inhabited by dozens and DOZENS of people groups over the millennia. Every nation on Earth has previously been inhabited by different people groups than those who live there now. And that means exactly nothing. And if you want to quote the Bible at this point, refer back to the last one. If we're playing by Biblical rules, Palestine belongs to Christ, which means it should be transferred to those who are in Christ, at which point, the Church would happily take it.
And finally, it would be foolish and irresponsible for any serious person to answer "Does Israel have a right to exist" in the affirmative, knowing what the Zionists mean when they say "Israel." In their head, they don't mean the strip of land we call Israel. They mean Greater Israel (which is why they refer to the land held by other nations as Judea, or Samaria, or Greater Israel). Their entire national history has been one ambitious land grab after another. Their goal is to occupy practically the entire Middle East, a region currently home to 310 million Muslims. No, we don't want WWIII, thank you very much. And we're not going to affirm your right to exist there.
As Christians, there's a bonus reason we should answer that question in the negative. We should be reminded that the current global consensus is that no Christian ethnostate should exist on this planet. That's out of the question for every major international ruling body on Earth. So in a world in which Christians are not allowed to have a Christian ethnostate, there's no good reason we should support a Jewish one. Jesus Christ is the King of Kings. We should not support the "right to exist" of a nation that rejects Jesus in their national charter, which Israel matter-of-factly does. Their entire identity is founded upon their rejection of Jesus as Lord. They ban Jews who believe in Christ from migrating to Israel. They ban public Christian evangelism. They pull the broadcast licenses of Christian TV and radio if they provide programming directed at evangelizing Jews. They're hostile to the indigenous church. They discriminate against Christian in a thousand different ways, none of them secretly. Any Christian who would support the right of a nation to exist that is THAT hostile to our God needs to get their head on straight. Not only should we not support their right to exist, but newsflash: God Almighty also doesn't, either. He does not embrace a nation that rejects His Son.
Reject Christ, reject God (Luke 10:16). Reject God, be rejected by God (2 Chronicles 5:2).
Does Israel have a right to exist? The short answer is no. The long answer is noooooooo. It doesn't.
That does not mean - for the record - that Jews don't have a right to exist, any more or less than any other human has such a right. But their nation-state? Their body-politic? Their collective civic identity? No, it doesn't. And that's the only answer this side of common sense.
@willoughby_liam @TheProjectUnity@espressomaxima1 yea its all right wing (but prior to Trump, so not sure how much longer till right is redefined, if it hasn't been already)
Everything is done by design. If you're going to share one video today, let it be this one.
How many of you still have an automobile that is older than 2005?
Let me explain what just happened, because I don’t think people realize how INSANE this is.
> Cortical Labs put 200,000 real human brain cells onto a silicon chip and trained them to play Doom in just one week.
> Each CL1 system costs $35,000.
> A rack of 30 units consumes only 850–1,000 watts combined.
> The human brain operates on 20 watts.
> Large AI training clusters burn through megawatts.
>Backed by In-Q-Tel.
115 units began shipping in 2025.
> Cortical Labs is selling “Wetware as a Service” through Cortical Cloud, letting developers deploy code remotely to living human neurons with no lab required,
> priced like a software subscription but powered by real brain cells grown from adult skin and blood samples.
> it isn’t about gaming, it’s about biological computing that could eventually outperform traditional silicon in energy efficiency and adaptability.
This is getting really scary and we’re still at the very beginning.
@Clown23245@ianmiles I was looking for discourse in this direction. It seems like an airtight solution is simply changing pads, or even simpler, covering it in a light cotton wrap
Cannot stress how much of an advantage it is to be a normal, well adjusted, applicant for food industry roles.
A friend runs an olive oil factory and an applicant listed "the global financial system" as an interest. That is not an interest. There will not be an interview.
There's a region in southeastern Spain called Almería. If you look at it on Google Earth, you'll see something that looks like a glitch in the satellite imagery.
It's not a glitch. It's 64,000 acres of plastic greenhouses. So much plastic sheeting that it's visible from space. The entire landscape is white reflective plastic stretched over industrial farming operations growing tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and lettuce for European supermarkets year-round.
This plastic sea has created its own microclimate. The reflective surface is so vast it's actually lowered local temperatures by reflecting sunlight back into the atmosphere. Scientists call it the "Albedo effect of Almería."
The only place on Earth where human activity has cooled the local climate, and it's an environmental catastrophe they accidentally made while building plastic farms.
The plastic itself is single-use agricultural film. It degrades in UV light within 3 to 5 years, breaks into microplastics, blows into the Mediterranean, and ends up in the ocean and soil. Every year, 45,000 tonnes of plastic waste is generated just from replacing degraded greenhouse covering.
Inside these greenhouses, workers from Morocco and sub-Saharan Africa labor in 45°C heat for €30 per day, no contracts, no rights, spraying crops with pesticides that would be illegal if used on outdoor crops due to concentration levels. The ventilation is minimal. The chemical exposure is constant.
The groundwater underneath Almería is so contaminated with agricultural runoff that it's unusable. The region imports water from other parts of Spain while sitting on top of a poisoned aquifer they created.
And this is what supplies your "fresh" vegetables in January. Grown in plastic factories, by exploited workers, using groundwater they've contaminated, wrapped in more plastic, and shipped across Europe so you can have tomatoes in winter.
But sure, cattle grazing on Scottish hills are the environmental problem.
HISTORIC ICE STORM COMING - A destructive and potentially catastrophic ice storm is forecast to impact the south this weekend. Widespread ice will cripple travel, cause major power outages, and down trees. This is a rare high-impact event — potentially the worst in decades since the Great Ice Storm of February 1994. Computer models are calling for widespread ice accumulations of 1-2+” — for context — a half an inch is considered catastrophic. Residents from Dallas, Shreveport, Atlanta, and Charlotte need to prepare like a hurricane is coming. Buy non-perishable food, water, gas, and charge devices. Protect pipes, plants, pets, and people. It also wouldn’t hurt to trim vulnerable tree limbs close to valuable property. I would have warm clothes in case the power goes out. You can forget about any travel north this weekend. An ice storm of this magnitude will cripple the I-20 corridor along with any flights into this area for days. Ice impacts could even be possible as far south as I-10 in Texas and western Louisiana — but the swath of greatest impacts will likely stay north. Either way, this is trending towards becoming a historic storm, and those in the path should heed warnings from local meteorologists and emergency officials. Stay tuned.
men, 2026 is the time to get our shit together. the modern world has made human slop of us. fertility rates are down 62%. metabolic disease afflicts 35%. obesity has hit 40%. 63% are not having sex weekly. testosterone is dropping 1% every year. 42% over forty have erectile dysfunction. sexlessness has doubled to 24%. enough. fucking enough.
reject fast food, junk food, vaping, gambling, porn, nicotine, sleep deprivation, phone addiction, and excessive scrolling. these are your enemies. this is dopamine extraction. they are mining you for profit and leaving you weak and miserable. they are predators and you are their prey.
no, not just this once. no, not in moderation. no, it’s not living life. it’s suicidal and deranged behavior.
sleep. get jacked. eat well. set limits. be consistent. build the schedule. put on autopilot. don’t let your mind rationalize. replace inner weakness with systems strength.
don’t listen to other people’s criticisms. they’re projecting their own stuff onto you. straighten up. let it roll off of you. be great. be unabashedily you. maintain friendships with those who make you better. who inspires you to be your best self. do not continue to hang out with people who encourage debauchery.
maintain good posture. stand tall. get up from your desk and walk around, stretch, do light exercises.
do these things to reclaim your self respect. be a sovereign person. do not be owned by evil companies or influence. do not listen to the critics. build your life systems. make them habits. don’t let yourself talk you out of it. as you gain strength, it will require less energy to maintain.
Re-read the Unabomber Manifesto after having read this 👇 and understand that everything Ted K said about surrogate activities and the helplessness of modern life plays out at the level of hormones. You are a rat, held down on its back, without anything to bite.
