🚨 CAUGHT IN THE ACT: The City of Calgary has been caught ILLEGALLY removing a Let Alberta Decide referendum sign.
Even more damning: LAD says multiple signs were removed while adjacent federalist “No to the Nine” signs were left untouched.
The city has some explaining to do.
This is about trust in election results.
@ElectionsAB says the same contribution, spending and weekly disclosure rules apply to every referendum TPA.
Yet Forever Canadian has been registered since June 8 and actively collecting donations and spending on referendum advertising. Just look at all of their lawn signs!
Albertans deserve Elections Alberta to do its job. Forever Canadian has reported zero donations and Elections Alberta has done nothing.
A referendum must have one set of rules for everyone.
How can Albertans trust Elections Alberta to run a fair vote count when it let's one side not follow the rules?
The famous 2021 “Sky Palace” patio photo shows a dinner on the Federal Building terrace in Edmonton with Premier Jason Kenney, Health Minister Tyler Shandro, Environment Minister Jason Nixon, Finance Minister Travis Toews, and two senior staff (Larry Kaumeyer and Pam Livingston).
Of the elected officials in that group, only Jason Nixon is still a sitting politician. He remains the UCP MLA for Rimbey-Rocky Mountain House-Sundre and is currently Alberta’s Minister of Finance.
The others are not:
Jason Kenney left the legislature in 2022, when his leadership review support was only 51%, and is no longer in elected office.
Tyler Shandro lost his Calgary-Acadia seat in the 2023 election.
Travis Toews did not seek re-election in 2023.
This photograph outraged a lot of people, including me. Albertans were still facing distancing requirements, vaccine passports, travel restrictions, limits on restaurant patios, and other sacrifices. MAny had lost their jobs, their livelihood, and even their lives.
The gathering looked like the political class applying a different standard to itself: no masks, chairs closer than two metres, wait staff serving drinks. Combined with the location (made famous by another disgraced Alberta Premier) and the fact taxpayers funded the building, it read as hypocrisy and entitlement. Leaders imposing rules they would not follow themselves.
No one was ever held accountable for stomping on our rights during COVID. Kenney resigned, but that's not enough. Now that entitled fuck is joining hands with the likes of Rachel Notley, Naheed Nenshi and Mark Carney in opposing Alberta independence.
Never forget who the real Jason Kenney is.
The Alberta Transition Plan is now complete and available on the Alberta Transition Council website.
Its purpose is not to argue every political question about independence, design Alberta’s permanent constitution, or pretend that every future negotiation can be predicted in advance.
It answers a more practical question:
If Albertans ultimately decide to become an independent country, how do we get from here to there in a lawful, orderly and workable way?
The Plan maps that pathway in detail—laws, courts, banking, pensions, taxation, trade, borders, transportation, policing, health care, First Nations and treaty relations, international agreements, government administration and the other functions that have to continue through a transition.
One of its most important findings is that Alberta would not be starting from scratch. The institutions, people, infrastructure, businesses and public services that Albertans rely upon already exist. The task is largely to preserve what works, transfer or replace federal responsibilities where necessary, negotiate the relationships that cross borders, and build the limited sovereign functions Alberta does not presently need as a province.
In other words, the primary change is to the constitutional order and the governmental relationship between Alberta and Canada—not to ordinary life.
The objective is deliberately unremarkable:
Government continues. Courts remain open. Pensions and benefits are paid. Banks operate. Businesses continue. Goods and people move. Essential services remain available.
Ordinary life continues—but Alberta becomes responsible for its own future, under a government elected by Albertans and possessing the full constitutional authority of an independent country over its laws, finances, institutions and national decisions.
Fair warning: it is a detailed, technical and occasionally boring read. That is probably a good thing. It is a transition plan, not a mystery novel.
But for anyone who has seriously wondered “How would this actually work?”—the Plan is intended to provide the answer.
You can now read the full Alberta Transition Plan at the ATC website. https://t.co/sCqzNWkVgz
@ikwilson Not surprising. A good percentage of Strathmore town council are unionized, woke fools doing their own bidding and not their constituents. The mayor needs to go. I'm glad my exhorbent property taxes pay these idiots.
Calgary, Alberta:
Why is the city of Calgary putting out weather warning signs in unofficial foreign languages?
This sign is in Punjabi and translates to: "Hail strikes with force! Prepare your home for every weather."
More concerning than hail is the fact that immigrants are somehow able to afford homes in Canada while not being able to read English and that our governments are catering to them.

October 19 isn’t a vote to make Alberta independent.
It’s a vote on whether Alberta should begin the legal process toward a future binding referendum and negotiate from a position of greater strength.
If you’re happy with the status quo, vote Option 1.
If you want Alberta to have more leverage before any final decision is made, vote Option 2.

Dear Elbows Up Retards,
The USA is not the only country that has put tariffs on Canadian products.
When will you start boycotting Chinese products?
The answer is never, because you’re too stupid to think for yourselves.
@ABDanielleSmith@yaseenUCP@RajanJSaw I'm sorry. Not interested.
I was once a proud Canadian but not anymore. I will celebrate Alberta Day with long lost enthusiasm when we leave the dumpster fire.
Alberta first, Premier.
After yesterday’s successful launch, one thing is clear:
Alberta’s done waiting.
Over 6K new followers joined us on X in one day, and we’re grateful to everyone who has donated so far.
Thank you for helping us build the campaign to win the referendum.

Albertans have a rare chance to walk away from one of the most corrupt, mismanaged countries in the developed world and build one of the wealthiest nations on earth.
Ignore the fear campaign. Don’t waste the opportunity.

This is interesting to think about:
So Canada will accept dual citizenship for people borne outside Canada & move here BUT if Albertans who were borne in Canada are part of an Independent Alberta their citizenship is revoked whether they chose to vote for independence or not.
Canada won't revoke citizenship for terrorists, treason, or espionage if you got citizenship before those acts.
So, apparently Albertans are less than terrorists, traitors, & spies.
Not sure that is a winning pro-Canada argument... Albertans need fairness, not fear & derision.
The reason AI exploded so fast is simple:
it gives lazy people the feeling of being intelligent
and uncreative people the feeling of being artists.
Nobody wants to struggle anymore.
They just want the result without becoming the person who could actually make it.
