Although not pointed out, the secretion of EVs is not only through endocytic pathway and plasma membrane budding. The transport of some EVs to afar seems well organized by the originating cells, but NOT only passive diffusion. EVs are heterogeneous.

New paper! Cells secrete #extracellularvesicles to communicate and we make #nanomedicines with EVs. Congrats postdoc Hanzhuang for reporting in @NanoLetters a molecular probe for imaging EV secretion live in medium! No EV isolation or transfection needed!

Important to follow protocols! As an individual, wear masks and wash hands as frequently as possible. The more strictly we follow these protocols, the sooner our life will be back to normal!!!
Latest work by our talented PhD student Bohan Yin @dingdingdang15 👧🏻is out on @acsnano 👏🏻Pushing the understanding on the bio-nano interaction between the nanoparticles with defined functional groups and lung at cellular level.🚀

Editorial: Beginning this week, authors of new submissions to Nature will be offered the option to have anonymous referee reports published, along with their own responses and rebuttals, once a manuscript is ready for publication. https://t.co/FhRwYHuwW2
This is excellent news! We @NatureComms have been doing this for several years already and I think it's a great way of increasing transparency in peer review.
