@thegreghead@NeomindLabs@TheGregHead our first core value is Calm. For a long time we phrased it as "a sustainable pace" or "not too busy" until @jasonfried and @dhh wrote "It Doesn't Have to Be Crazy at Work" and we saw how they used the word "calm".
@ykdojo I’m observing that folks seem to think meetups is the only form of networking. I think it’s worth mentioning that open source work should also not be overlooked. And it doesn’t have to be particularly sexy work to get started: non-code contributions like docs are low barrier.

So weird people think GPT-4 is *actually intelligent* just because it's good at coding, common sense, math, writing, image manipulation, Fermi estimation, art history, biology, social reasoning, creative tasks, game playing, and stuff like that. Just a parlor trick, really.

I discovered Ruby 16 years ago coming from Java and Python.
I liked the language from the first moment and it is still the only one that feel like art and engineering in the same time.
I love the beauty and elegance of Ruby.
#ruby30th happy birthday #Ruby
Ruby serenaded me into a career as a programmer. Before Ruby, code was a means to an end. After Ruby, code was flow, growth, and the greatest intellectual endeavor I’ve ever found. I love Ruby as much today as when we first met in ‘03. Thank you @yukihiro_matz. Happy #ruby30th ❤️
FTW! @hopeworkscamden’s new center in Philly - and not just anywhere but in Kensington. Awesome leadership by @DanRhoton to make it happen💪🏻Hopeworks continues to fundamentally change lives for the better. No greater work on the planet 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
My kid came home completely soaked in sweat at 12:30, not to mention every parent of a public school kid in Philly had to make childcare plans for (what were supposed to be) work days with ~24 hours of notice. All for something that was *completely* predictable.
