Codex Alera series - Jim Butcher (finished).
Cinder Spires - new series, steampunk(ish) looks promising too. Dresden Files are always a good and fun read too.

Zelazny's Chronicles of Amber is always a good recomendation.
A farmer buys a young cock. As soon as he gets it home, it f*cks all the farmer's 150 hens. The farmer is impressed. At lunch the cock screws all 150 hens again.
The next day it's f*cking the ducks and geese too. Later he finds the cock lying on the ground half-dead with vultures circling overhead.
The farmer says, “You deserved it, you horny bastard!” The cock opens one eye, points up, and says, “Shhhhhh. They’re about to land!!”
They can fund a lot of dev just by re-adding old content and seasons in order and let players (re)play (and buy) what they missed. Easily few years of "content" just there with proper NL experience. Also, porting D1 to PC.
For additional bonus they should roll back everything post TFS and remove LF (strand belongs to WQ) when they get to it.
Please don’t bother me about the framerate… I just started the Half-Life 1 port. I finally managed to get the game running without crashing from memory overflows and stuff like that
The only good move for Sony is closing Bungie, annonuce D2 revival starting from Red War, (selectable) seasons, skipping LF and put strand in WQ where it belongs, and stoping at TFS.
This MUST include fix the MC/NPC writing and lore.
Only then D3 can have any chance.
In short, they need NMS post launch levels of effort to restore it.
