This is BEYOND unaffordable. It is more that £300 higher than in 2018, when I bought.

Further to this, I hope @THCHousing has been honest with @PoplarHARCA about the sheer scale of discontent there is at the moment, many residents on service charge strikes, disrepair claims, looming court action and so on. They will have to be dealt with.

Residents of @THCHousing need clarity from them, @LutfurRahmanTH, @TowerHamletsNow and @PoplarHARCA on the rumours of a takeover/merger between the two HA before a deal is struck. Residents need to be consulted. Is this part of @RSHEngland demands after downgrade?

(FINANCIAL STABILITY RISKS) The Earl of Lytton details the risks to leaseholders and the financial system due to the flawed government #BuildingSafetyAct and not due to the #BuildingSafetyCrisis itself.

1) Excluded leaseholders face increased forfeiture risk. 2) Qualifying leaseholders with landlords who can't pay for non cladding costs, face being left in legal limbo.
3) Bank exposure to increased forfeiture and escheat risk, whilst dealing with Basel 3.1 extra capital requirements for higher risk mortgages.
4) The Crown Estate being dragged into the building safety crisis on the year of the King's coronation!
5) The simple way out of this is the Earl of Lytton's #PolluterPays amendment. Hurry Mr Gove, before it's too late!

We will not allow any leaseholder to be excluded from government protection and will grow further support and FORCE a VOTE at report stage.
