@haleyrbmoore Hi Haley, I think perhaps the info in this article should help get you back up and running. Apologies for the delay in responding and please let us know if you require further help. https://t.co/PIdJnyClsk
@Yodarules2 Hello! As you may have heard, the good folks at @ROBO3D have taken over support of the #MODt. They are hosting the MOD-t software on their #NewMatter support site. Here’s the link to where you can download the software: https://t.co/VkGfUTQpNc
@Vegas3DKids Heh...well as I said, we certainly wouldn’t refuse any reasonable offers to sit down and discuss the sale of our brand/IP assets to an interested party.
@bribriggs@Polar3D@ROBO3D (2/2) Due to legal and business agreements made by New Matter during the development of the platform, the underlying code for New Matter’s cloud-based printing platform cannot be released publicly or made “open source”.
@bribriggs@Polar3D@ROBO3D (1/2) No, unfortunately. Robo was gracious enough to take on support for the MOD-t, but they were not given access to any additional New Matter code or assets that would enable them to set up a cloud-based platform compatible with the MOD-t.
@Vegas3DKids Hi! Afraid not, @Vegas3DKids. The MOD-t is completely sold out and the chances for a comeback are slim.... unless you happen to know someone willing to purchase our assets and get the manufacturing process up and running again. 😉 Thanks so much for your support!
@NEJudgeJosh Afraid not, guys! The MOD-t is completely sold out and there are no more units remaining. Even the remaining RMA and refurbished units have been fully distributed. Thanks so much for your support, and don’t forget to contact @ROBO3D if you need any additional help with your MOD-t
Hello MOD-t users! It has come to our attention that our friends at Robo 3D have sold out of their stock of replacement print surfaces for the MOD-t. We recently discovered some additional stock of this item and have made them available for sale on eBay: https://t.co/4LaWz98dsS
@Vectrexer@ROBO3D Hi Chris! New Matter account information and customer data HAS NOT been transferred to Robo. Also, you won’t need to sign up for an account with them in order to receive support. If you need help with your MOD-t, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our friends @ROBO3D!
@catwalkteach Hi Cathy! Send an email to [email protected] and our support folks will provide you with instructions. The basics are: open MOD-t Printer Tool>Account Settings>sign in with old account>click “unlink”. Email if you need additional help!
@codingpanic Sorry to hear that. Have you tried slicing G-code with Cura or Astroprint per our instructions? Are you seeing better results when you convert your files that way?
@amythuesen@AmyLearn Hi Amy. Sounds like a Z-axis stall. Should be a very easy fix. Please have a look at this support article, and be sure to email us at [email protected] if you need further assistance. https://t.co/nauYMD4k2f
@Vectrexer@newmatterhelp That’s not entirely true. Support is still available via email ([email protected]) for the time being, and we do have some parts and accessories available for our users who are still under warranty. If you need help, reach out via email!
@Lemony6@SBISDEdTech Hi Melanie. The MOD-t actually appears to be printing, only there’s no filament being extruded. Try running a filament load operation to see if you have your filament properly loaded. If no filament comes out of the extruded during the load please contact support directly.
@LLacrosse Hi Leah! You can’t send an .STL or .OBJ directly to the MOD-t through the desktop software. You’ll need to convert the file to G-code first. We recommend a program called Cura for the conversion process. Have a look here: https://t.co/U7olWvH2vj
