@svpino Isn't pay-as-you-go better option? Transparent pricing and usage, could use in bursts, no wasted subscription during vacations? I expect Claude and others is trying to collect roughly the same money from subscriptions as the same resources were paid by on demand usage.
@jojosk@Alex_Oloyede2 In some (or many) EU countries you need to wait couple of weeks or months for medical visit, unless you are willing to pay for it. I am not sire if I could agree with you.
@popovicu94 I am using it on my daily Linux. The problem is out of tree kernel modules oftens lags behind latest stable kernel version. Due to license problems. But otherwise it is solid, I never lost anything.
@naziralnik@relizarov For some companies that is true, but not all are the same. But then the question is how ROI differs between efficient and not efficient companies? I didn't noticed in surge of startups or producs despite we have AI for couple of years already.
Virtual Machines render fonts. It’s kind of insane.
TrueType has its own instruction set, memory stack, and function calls.
You can debug it like assembly. It’s also exploitable:
Some people think they are smart because they are good at one thing. No: you are smart when you develop trans-disciplinary intelligence.
The illusion of intelligence often comes from narrow expertise. A man who memorizes formulas or masters a single technique believes he possesses wisdom, but his knowledge collapses the moment he steps outside his specialty. Such minds mistake technical proficiency for intellect, forgetting that genuine intelligence is measured by adaptability, not repetition.
The truly intelligent man connects fields that others keep separate. He sees how history explains economics, how biology shapes politics, how literature reveals psychology. He does not fear crossing borders between disciplines, because he understands that truth rarely fits into a single compartment. Intelligence is not the perfection of one tool, but the ability to use many.
A society built on specialists is fragile, because it depends on the isolated competence of individuals who cannot communicate outside their field. A society led by trans-disciplinary minds, on the other hand, is resilient. These are the men who can anticipate crises, design new solutions, and recognize patterns invisible to the narrow technician. Intelligence is not a closed workshop; it is a forge where many metals are melted together into a sharper blade.
(This is not a self-promoting tweet, I am mediocre at math and have a poor grasp of physics and chemistry for instance).
@0mNam0@Ihor_from_Kyiv@nexta_tv Because EU wants make decisions on its own, war happens on Europe soil and next target will be EU. And ironicly, funded by EU.
@Lon @_trish_xD WAL was enabled, but after few bytes corrupted in the hard disk, I was not able to .vacuum after .recover and decided drop DB.
I could be wrong, but I honestly believe postgre would have better chances to survive few corrupted bytes.
