If you are a US Citizen and you aren’t rooting for USA against Belgium, you are a traitor. No other way to put it. You can’t be trusted if you are rooting against your own country in the World Cup.
Investors are trading $XRP against Japanese yen and British pounds. Ripple Prime (@Ripple) by design aggregates all of it into a single book.
Mike Higgins (@mikehiggins) explained why running FX and digital assets on one platform is a capital-efficiency requirement, not a nice-to-have.
"You can buy and sell XRP against dollars. You can buy and sell XRP against Japanese yen or British pounds. That adds a foreign exchange component, because if you're market making XRP/dollars to one client and XRP/yen to another client, then you end up with a dollar/yen platform."
"It would be capital inefficient if you had to do your FX business separate to your digital asset business."
We sat down with @ashgoblue CEO of @Evernorthxrp who says Ripple, XRP and RLUSD are only ones that get technology, commercialization, and liquidity right.
We discuss:

NEW: @Ripple received its complete Crypto-Asset Service Provider license, making the company fully compliant with the EU's MiCA rules.
When we spoke to Cassie Craddock (@CraddockCJ), Ripple's VP, Managing Director - UK and Europe, last year, she said:
"The main reason we're seeing this adoption really happening now is regulatory clarity. It's providing banks and the largest financial institutions in the world the incentive and the ability to really lean into offering this to their customers."
"MiCA here in Europe has really kickstarted that momentum, and what we've seen is banks almost racing on a regional basis to launch a digital asset offering to their customers, because their customers are demanding it."
Now with full Crypto-Asset Service Provider authorization, Ripple can offer its regulated crypto payments product to financial institutions, corporates, and businesses across all 30 countries in the European Economic Area.
Epic pays up to 8% cashback in $XRP on every booking. Not a stablecoin, not points, $XRP sent directly to your wallet after every hotel and flight.
A lot of people have asked why $XRP specifically. The answer comes down to who Epic was built for and where the value should actually go.
@AdrianBaschuk walks through the full reasoning in this video.
The next phase of digital finance will be built on regulated infrastructure, not speculation.
Congratulations to @Ripple on another important milestone for institutional adoption. 🗝️
1/5 ~$4B in total tokenized real-world assets now sit on the XRP network, roughly 4x the size of its entire ETF market. Demand for XRP is turning up in three places at once. 🧵👇
