After a thorough analysis of the @Ledger Connect Kit supply chain attack, the SlowMist security team identified that the attack was orchestrated by the well-known phishing group called #AngelDrainer. Additionally, the Angel Drainer phishing group utilized smart contracts to manage the access domains of malicious JavaScript files.

In order to minimize the risk of Web3 users falling victim to phishing attacks and suffering asset losses, the SlowMist security team, in collaboration with the @realScamSniffer team, utilized a series of characteristics associated with the Angel Drainer phishing group to identify thousands of phishing websites, which have been reported to eth-phishing-detect. We hope to collectively maintain the ecological security of the #web3 industry through the strength of the community.
