@tjmcaulay I think it would help if there was a clear definition of “immediate continuing action”. Is that 1 second, 3 seconds, 5 seconds? In this situation it sure looks like the “action” stopped at the whistle and the Seahawks player was nonchalantly picking the ball up for the ref.

@JonnyRoot_ My problem with this play is that the whistle blew the play dead. How much time do they allow for someone to recover a fumble after a whistle has blown? Is this in the rules? Technically players are supposed to stop when the whistle blows.
