@VivekGRamaswamy so your are basically saying lots of bad behavior (resolved legally) is obviously worse than one person’s bad behavior. therefore one person’s bad behavior is not a big deal…even though it was ‘resolved’ illegally. got it.
Given that modern AI can solve any “prove you’re not a robot” tests, it’s now trivial to spin up 100k human-like bots for less than a penny per account.
Paid verification increases bot cost by ~10,000% & makes it much easier to identify bots by phone & CC clustering.
Obvious conclusion: paid account social media will be the only social media that matters.
@Fynnderella1@jinxidoru@InvisoMr can’t talk about scheduling. a schedule can change. the guy in charge taking out millions day of is bullsht. paying employee bonuses out same day is just cover to get his millions out. how can he be allowed to earn this and not know how to manage interest rate risk/liquidity risk
@biancoresearch Per their latest 10k submission to the SEC, SVB had only 3.3% of their assets funded with long term debt. How was this clear liquidity/maturity mismatch allowed to happen? What were the regulators/auditors/senior execs thinking? How did nobody think this was a problem?
@biancoresearch Everyone is going to get their money back? Really? The only way that happens is if govt steps in and buys all the securities and the value of those purchases equates to at lease aggregate of deposits outstanding. No way to know that unless you know the fair value of the assets.
@biancoresearch And nobody except senior execs know the FV of the bond portfolio because it’s all stuck in held to maturity & available for sale accounting categories which are NOT fair valued. How is SVB’s balance sheet almost entirely funded with deposits that can be withdrawn at any time. wtf
