Quite amazed at how many Putin simps there are out there. Blaming NATO for Russia invading Ukraine, twice, ignoring the land theft, large number of deaths at Putin’s hands, the complete lack of free press/speech/association in Russia, mafia state which has stolen the wealth of the Russians, persecution of homosexuals, mass killing of journalists, assassination and imprisonment of opposition political voices, open nuclear threats to the world, stealing of Ukrainian children, endless human rights abuses.

I’ll stop you before The West whataboutism, you can hold two sets of truths at the same time. You can be critical of The West and Russia, but if you’re defending Putin you’ve utterly lost it.
