@InspGadgetBlogs You think the police choose this madness? Home Office counting rules are insane. Everything must be recorded and it takes so much effort to no crime something it’s just not worth it. Been raped by Elvis? Let me record that for you within 69 mins. Stays on books forever.
@Tironianae Absolute nonsense. Sharia courts in the UK are unofficial arbiters of disputes etc and are totally voluntary.with no powers or legal standing. Like Judge Judy
@maylikesf1@InspGadgetBlogs Without wishing to be patronising, restraining violent people is messy and dangerous. It’s not clinical. An edged weapon is lethal. That lethality must be controlled quickly. A kick or even a stamp on the head in these circs is acceptable. The Taser is released SO he can drop it
@MentalHealthCop This happens again and again. TFCs in control rooms try to avoid firearms deployments and use taser as a tactical option for edged weapon incidents. Given the failure rate of taser this is almost always a flawed decision. Very common though.
@LeeGriff2255@InspGadgetBlogs Do you know what an arrest is and when and why police officers use handcuffs? Best do some research before posting nonsense.
@CPhilpOfficial Utterly disingenuous comment. The Conservatives decimated policing by refusing to fund it for 15 years. The harm done to a key public service cannot be overstated. Your party did the damage.
@kvnbhrly1@YossiBenYakar This is so true @kvnbhrly1 The police need to be taught grappling skills and proper strikes. Fighting is part of the job no matter how much some people wish to pretend it isn’t. Officers also need to be supported when they need use force.
@ShAsrarRashid The force misrepresented the risk which was largely from the local population and less so from travelling fans. Then they were dishonest about it. The chief constable needs to be dismissed
